Guest Bio Michael Clemenger is a dedicated and results driven construction professional with over 25 years of experience managing all aspects of project delivery and the past nine years with the responsibility of leading a State division.
As the Victorian State Director of the New Icon business, Michael has played a leading role in bringing together two very successful businesses with the merge of Icon Co and Cockram Construction in 2018.
He enjoys leading a large and very talented team in the Victorian business delivering quality projects on time and on budget for our clients across significantly diverse industry sectors including Health, Residential, Aged Care, Commercial, Education, Sporting, Student Accommodation, Civic, Defence & ICT.
The opportunity to work across Australasia and internationally has enabled Michael to sharpen his cross-cultural communication skills and seen him work on large pharmaceutical projects in China and in Puerto Rico along with playing a major part in delivering successful joint venture construction projects in New Zealand.
Michael is actively involved in our industry as the Deputy President and board member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria.
