Fraud committed by the consumer is the second most reported crime in South Africa at 42 percent, while the country stands third globally at 29 percent. This is according to PriceWaterhouseCoopers' biennial Global Economic Crime Survey. South African organizations which have experienced economic crime now stands at 77 percent, with half of the top ten countries coming from Africa.
