A somewhat pedestrian, conversational show. We discuss how we celebrate St Patrick's Day.
Other minor topics include biz travel, shitty Lyft drivers, and Southern Baked Pies.
Major topics include clips of Pamela Anderson singing in Aladdin and Pete Davidson blasting off into space.
Things wrap up with a game from Lori and the most popular Muppet's St. Patrick's Day video OF ALL TIME.
Muppet's Danny Boy - https://youtu.be/OCbuRA_D3KU
Oh man... Big things happened by the end of this episode even though it started off innocently enough.
Paul talks about donating blood. From there the conversation turns to reviewing the car show and picking your favorite Beatles song. If you like the older Beatles then you like the younger songs. *mindblown*
Lori discussing her dissatisfaction with Facebooks Two-Factor Authentication. That leads to possible big change in the podcast.
Paul and Lori then discuss Lent and that fact that Protestants aren't Satanic. Lori has a hard time with towels which leads to Paul no longer doing the laundry.
Finally it's game time.
So, if you make it to the end, let Paul and Lori know about "the Change".
This episode is quick one. Had a busy week and not much got added to the list.
Paul and Lori are going car shopping.
Paul discusses why he genetically doesn't believe in God.
Ye has a new girlfriend that looks like his old girlfriend. He also leaked a track that disses Pete - and the track ain't that good.
And then there is the big swinger's party that gets planned after the second kid moves away to college.
Where to begin this week? At the start, like always.
Paul and Lori recap the Superbowl before getting into the celebrity feud that is Pete Davidson and Ye. From there they make the jump to crime stories, celebrities deaths and what should really be included in obituaries. The show closes out with Lori ripping out Steph Curry's gameshow that is one HBO.
Yeah, that's a short recap, but are you really even going to listen?
Dropping this one a day early because of our busy schedule.
This week is the exact opposite of last week. There is nothing on the list so we wing it.
First up is the new sound board. It works way better than the old sound board.
Quick hit on viewer mail before getting into divorce, death and affairs.
From there things naturally progress into Paul's disdain for air fryers. Sticking to cooking there is some discussion of baked goods including bagels, cookies, and English muffins.
Things wrap up with a discussion on the Hulu show Pam and Tommy. Big things get discussed.
For homework we're asking for games and what sound is missing from the sound board so get busy.
An important lesson was learned this episode. A list that is too short is no good and neither is on that is too long.
Paul and Lori review mail from the Superfan Couple of Mary Beth and Dave before getting into other things. Lots of other things....like...
Selfies, retired football players, Rock and Roll HoF, used cars, John Oliver, David Letter and a live critique of just how bad this episode was before they ended it.
So look, Paul typed a bunch of stuff our and then the new Anchor.fm upload interface ate his homework.
This week there are -
Birthday wishes and selfies at the Cavs game from famous people.
Pink Eye Flinging Monkeys
Wordle
Lewdle
Sweardle
Lori had games around what book would make you end a date and what would be on your anti-bucket list. So take a listen and drop your answers in the comments.
Grab a drink and a snack because this ended up being a long episode.
Getting into view mail leads us to discussing how we shower. Paul goes middle out. Lori goes top to bottom. Paul thinks about opening a pubic grooming salon.
Next up, we review celebrities turning 50 with commentary on what we actually think of said celebrities.
Then things get a bit sideways because the show notes for the rest of the week were put together after a few beers. So, we discuss what the Hobbit might be like as a porno, what we would do for each other if we were dying. Handjobs, yes. Buttseggs, no. Threesome, maybe, but somebody is going to be disappointed because Lori still doesn't know what kind of women Paul finds attractive.
So yeah, Happy Birthday to Paul!
Quick hit on view mailer from some Superfans before the audio goes nuts. Apologies to your eardrums for that.
The show quickly turns into Appliance Talk Radio as we review our fixed dishwasher and new dryer. Nothing wet in this house anymore....well...
Paul talks about soap. How long do you use a bar of soap before you throw it away or mash it into the next bar. This leads to whether or not we use a wash cloth to clean ourselves. One of us does, one doesn't. Any guesses on who is the dirty, dirty person here. So, what do you do - wash cloth or just lather up with the bar?
Megan Fox loves MGK and they drink blood to get engaged. Seems a bit much.
Lori brings up her super depressing TikTok feed - mad teachers, period programs. Paul tells her TikTok should be a happy place full of thirst traps doing cosplay and woodworking.
And.....things wrap up with a discussion about Paul turning 50 and if he's going to take time to reflect on that.
So, you're homework for the week
