This afternoon Te Matatini organising committee will make an announcement about the biggest event on the Māori calendar.

The Kapa Haka national competition was due to be held in February next year in Tamaki Makaurau, after being postponed due to last year's covid-19 lockdowns.

Māni Dunlop spoke to reporter Matai O'Connor about the contingency arrangements.
