Folks are reaching out and asking me why I have a bone in my teeth (forever) about the Constitution and I just managed to dig up a 2010 debate I had with Professor Daniel Walker Howe at FreedomFest. I defended the Articles of Confederation against the Constitution. I was and remain a nobody but they could not find another AoC champion. Me: “Hamilton’s machinations and influence probably single-handedly turned the product of this secret confab into one of the most successful instruments of political oppression before even the creation of the USSR. What makes it even more sublime as a tool of big government is the sophisticated propaganda and hagiographic enterprise which has both spontaneously and through careful planning suborned the public’s skepticism of the nature of the machine erected to control their behavior, which has resulted in an almost religious observance of all things Constitutional. Carefully cultivated over two hundred years, this religious idolatry had certainly fogged the thinking of this writer for most of his adult life. This sleeper has awakened.” More details here. I recommend my friend’s, Kenneth Royce, masterful critique of the Constitution: Hologram of Liberty: The Constitution’s Shocking Alliance With Big Government The Anti-federalist Papers were an early warming system. Are you truly prepared for a roadside breakdown, or are you just one flat tire away from a crisis? In this comprehensive episode of Ready Your Future, Todd reveals how to build a proper vehicle survival kit that goes far beyond the basic jumper cables most drivers keep tucked away. Drawing from his own experience of a tire blowout during an anniversary trip and the list created by the RYF Exclusive Email Group, Todd explains why every prepper needs a well-thought-out auto emergency kit tailored to their specific climate, vehicle type, and travel patterns. This isn’t about tossing random items in your trunk—it’s about strategic preparedness that transforms your vehicle into a mobile resource center. Todd breaks down the essential components of an effective car emergency kit, from the tools that save you money during breakdowns to the life-saving gear needed for winter emergencies. Whether you’re stranded in extreme heat, caught in a snowstorm, or simply dealing with a dead battery in a sketchy neighborhood, the right vehicle kit makes all the difference between vulnerability and self-reliance. Learn how to properly store temperature-sensitive items, which tools veteran preppers swear by, and why your prepper kit should include items you’ve probably never considered—all based on real-world testing and years of practical experience. Effective June 2025, I did a major improved revision on the sound quality for all my WarNotes episodes retroactively thanks to the technology at Podsworth. The banal and humble generator set is a secret to destroying US combat power. I wanted to flesh out a thought experiment on the vulnerabilities of the US war machine in its expeditionary mode in future wars of choice if a critical node of its operations for US efficacy were specifically targeted, in this case, generator sets;. these range from small portable units to large, trailer-mounted systems, including the Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) and the Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS). In the future near-peer and peer fight, salvo competition will be the preeminent means by which one country will kinetically overwhelm the other in a fight. I discuss the ways in which the West is in an existential hazard of being woefully under-prepared to meet the threat if Western forces go toe to toe with regional hegemons in the East or West. The US is NOT prepared for the war of leakers in which the inadequate missile defense systems and strategy now deployed will be overwhelmed if it enters a war of choice with China or Russia. It isn't simply the peer competitors but the smaller players like North Korea and Yemen are demonstrating that the US and its allies can't cash the checks they boast about. Once again, the US should stand down, reassess, re-calibrate and stop thinking defense is a four letter word. Despite what you are told by the mainstream news sources in the media, drone war is here to stay and it will be Despite what you may think, the US conventional forces are in terminal collapse and completely unprepared for 21st century peer conflict.
