  • The Christian Prepper | Ep42: This Has Me “Troubled” - Devo
When the World Feels "Off" - What Should Christian Preppers Do? Do you have that unsettled feeling in your gut that something is fundamentally wrong with the direction our world is heading? You're not alone - and more importantly, you're not without a biblical response. When recent events leave even the most seasoned preppers feeling troubled in heart, there's a powerful spiritual framework that can guide your preparedness mindset and actions. In this essential episode, Todd examines Jesus's own response when He declared "My soul is troubled" and reveals the profound preparedness principle hidden in His reaction. This isn't just another devotional - it's a strategic approach to maintaining spiritual and physical readiness when that bad feeling in your gut signals approaching chaos. You'll discover how to transform unsettled emotions into purposeful action, why settling three critical areas now is non-negotiable for Christian preppers, and how to position yourself as a beacon of hope rather than another fearful survivor when others are asking "what in the world is going on?" • Ready Your Future | Building Micro Kits for Your Survival and Beyond
Sometimes the most powerful preparedness tools come in the smallest packages. In this episode, Todd challenges conventional wisdom about survival gear by exploring the world of micro kits – specialized, pocket-sized solutions that address real-world emergencies more effectively than bulky wilderness gear. Drawing from personal experience and years of refinement, Todd demonstrates how simple Altoid tins can be transformed into targeted response systems for fire starting, medical emergencies, water purification, and everyday professional situations. This isn’t about cramming random survival items into a small container – it’s about strategic thinking that prioritizes the preparedness challenges you actually face. Todd shares compelling stories of how his “boo-boo kit” became legendary in professional settings, and reveals why focusing on urban survival scenarios led to more practical preparedness solutions. Whether you’re looking to optimize your everyday carry or build your first emergency kit, this episode provides the framework for thinking differently about preparedness gear and building systems that deliver results when it matters most. • Survival Punk | Ep502: Be Safe in Uncertain Times
A Country on Edge Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, something has shifted in the air. It feels like there was a “before” and now there’s an “after.” Tension was already building, but now the unease is thick enough to cut. People are angry. People are tired. And I don’t see things trending in a good direction. I’m not claiming to be a prophet, but I can read the signs. The economy is shaky, the housing market is insane, and inflation is eating people alive. Wages are up on paper, but the cost of living is through the roof. Folks are malcontent, and when enough people feel boxed in with no way out, sparks fly. History Doesn’t Repeat, but It Rhymes Looking back, wars and revolutions rarely had a single clear starting gun in the moment. Only in hindsight do historians point to “the shot heard round the world.” Right now, we might be living through the prelude to something bigger, and we won’t know what the spark was until after the fact. That’s what worries me most—how close are we to seeing the next escalation? The cultural divide is real, and patience on both sides is wearing thin. The right has been remarkably restrained so far, but people only tolerate being demonized, taxed, and pushed so far before something breaks. Why This Moment Feels So Dangerous
    • The Economy: Housing is a mess, mortgages are unaffordable, and homeowners are getting squeezed by skyrocketing taxes and insurance.
    • Inflation: A 2% cost-of-living raise doesn’t touch the reality of compounding price hikes. People feel poorer no matter what the numbers say.
    • Division: The left and right are farther apart than ever, and every news cycle pours gasoline on the fire.
    • The Wildcards: Veterans trained in violence, unstable individuals, and outright psychopaths are all part of society. Once political violence becomes normalized, there’s no capping it again.
All of this together is a recipe for escalation. What You Can Do Right Now I don’t say this to spread fear—I say it so you can act while there’s still time.
    • Avoid the Hot Zones – Big blue cities are already boiling over. If you live in one, have a plan to get out. Better yet, move if you can.
    • Bug Out Ready – If sparks fly, you don’t want to be trapped in the middle. Have a destination and a plan.
    • Stay Situationally Aware – Head on a swivel. Keep your awareness tuned up.
    • Carry – If you’re legally able, conceal carry consistently. Get your system dialed in so it’s second nature.
    • Travel Smart – If you’ve got trips planned to volatile areas, think twice. Vacations aren’t worth walking into a powder keg.
Closing Thoughts I don’t know exactly where things are going, but I know it’s not good. The best advice I can give you is simple: be safe. Stay vigilant, keep prepping, and don’t get caught off guard. This has been James from SurvivalPunk.com. DIY to survive, my friends.

  • The Christian Prepper | Ep22: Your Time to Die - Perspectives on Death
What if your time to die could become the capstone of a life well-lived rather than a tragic ending? In this episode of the Christian Prepper podcast, Todd explores two contrasting perspectives on death through the biblical stories of Rachel and Isaac. You'll discover the profound difference between dying in sorrow versus dying "full of days," and learn how your preparedness journey can become a legacy of impact that touches your family, friends, and community long after you're gone. This episode challenges listeners to view their time to die not as an ending to fear, but as motivation to live with greater purpose and intentionality. Whether you're new to preparedness or have been living this lifestyle for years, you'll gain fresh perspectives on death, legacy, and how your preparedness journey can become a blessing to others.
