To reach a new worldview, a new way of thinking, we will need to go beyond what we now know as science and religion; both today are immersed in their own misconceptions. One unique feature of the new book, Delusions in Science and Spirituality: The Fall of the Standard Model and the Rise of Knowledge from Unseen Worlds,  written by this week’s guest, Susan Martinez, Ph.D., is that it identifies delusions in both science and spirituality, including the big bang, Darwinism, and reincarnation.  But who is to say what is delusion, and what is fact?  One way is to consider the evidence and the logic beyond the theory.  And one more thing is important: we must rise above our prejudices, beliefs, preconceptions, mental structures and peer pressures and approach the subject with an open mind.  This may be the hardest part of the exercise.
