In “Turn to God with Carin,” Carin Jayne Casey introduced Reverend Patricia Rogers, who is the founder, director, and minister of "The Well Ministry." Reverend Rogers explains that "the mission of the Well Ministry is designed to aide women through the process of brokenness to wholeness in Jesus. We will use biblical scriptures as the base for our study. as a spiritual caregiver, we will commit to bring women to a place in God where they can pour their hearts and expose their wounds to Jesus. Prayerfully, they will begin to receive the healing power of Jesus that will help them reach a place of wholeness."

Reverend Rogers shared John 4:13-15 where Jesus offered living water, "a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life" to the Samaritan woman, and shows us that in John 3:16-17 "is the missional statement of God who sent hope in the form of Jesus." "In fact," she says, "not only the Samaritans, but our hope also came in the form of the Son of God. He reconciled the Samaritans through the woman at the well and then through his death, burial and resurrection, we were reconciled back to God."

Casey encouraged Reverend Rogers to tell her story of when she turned to God and accepted her calling. Jesus had sent someone for her, and will meet us anywhere as well. She shared, "don't think wherever you are that God has no use of you - He loves you and wants to save you!" Psalms 91:4 says, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." Reverend Rogers said, "We will have things happen in life, but just keep your eyes on Jesus!"

When you're heartbroken,know that you can turn to God: whatever happens in life - you can always turn to God, the king of the Universe and your salvation.

Vision/Harvest/Dreams - Let's Plant some seed!!. That is on the forefront of so many of our minds and hearts. So many Neighbors everywhere. Farmers know better than most that the crop doesn't begin with the planting. So as for farming so too in our lives. People consider Vision Boards the beginning and ending to their all. Creating Your Vision in my humble opinion is not a party. GOD had us to go through an entire Vision Planting Series on #ThePorch during our Sunday night live-interactive Teleconferences. I struggled with what to title it. Vision Planting... Everyone else tends to say party. When I think party, I think enjoyment, fun, relaxation, etc. None of that comes to mind when it deals with outcomes and results in my life that will also impact my family and children and neighbors. So finally, GOD gave me the peace to refer to it as Vision Planting Assignment. We didn't start with the boards and I daresay for some of us we are still seeking GOD to write the vision (on tablets) to make it plain. Everything that GOD allows to bless us has a bigger purpose to bless the Kingdom of GOD. So, I was impressed upon to encourage each of us not to just Write or Post on a Board the general things that people post and write when it involves their Vision for their life. So again, planting is not the 1st step. The scripture shows the order (tilling/plowing/cultivating) must take place 1st.

In the Podcast, you will hear in more detail what "Till the Soil" means. You will find out why we till the soil. Afterwards I hope that each Neighbor tuned is better prepared for his or her own life to have a Groundbreaking. Think about it even when Buildings are going to be built, there is always a Groundbreaking Ceremony. We don't heed this action; but even in the natural, we know that nothing is built on unbroken ground. I don't know if this 2UpLiftAll Podcast was really to be shared with anyone else but it’s being put out there. Personally, I don't and didn't want to share it. This one really shook me. In fact, I think it is a part of my continued Groundbreaking. My prayer is that anyone who listens to this will be empowered to not only accept that from time-to-time you will need to experience some Groundbreaking in your life but that you will seek GOD to send you a Groundbreaker or anoint you to be your own Groundbreaker. Based on the above scripture each of you Neighbors that come to share with us on #ThePorch (be it your first time or yet another time) probably struggle with being cultivated. You may be asking yourself, do I have Ground that needs to be broken? Do I have seeds that were planted on Unbroken Ground?

Planting is a necessary step in the farming process. It is also a necessary step for crops in our life. The important concept to understand from this point forward is that it is not the 1st step.

This week's #Neighbor2Neighbor Guest is GOD HIMSELF. He truly graces us Neighbors with HIS presence on #ThePorch. I will let you can draw your own conclusions. His presence brought some realizations to my life. I hope that by the time you leave #ThePorch today that GOD will do the same for you. I hope that by the time you leave today, you are broken. So that GOD can now plant the seeds, the dreams, the harvest in your life (in your spirit) so that you can write the Vision to make it plain. So, you can then post the Vision on a Board and be at peace that it will come true. But know if you don’t feel like you have been turned upside down, mixed-up and shoveled through, you need to find yourself back in the hands of The Master Gardner. Oh, Ok I forget probably not you but you have a Neighbor that needs too. You know a neighbor whose seeds keep blowing away. Or one whose garden is...
