Carrboro Mayor Damon Seils spoke with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Friday, June 16th. He discussed the town council's budget process, and when the budget will be passed. He also discussed the council's decision on a proposed development at Jade Creek just north of Calvander, and outlined some of the events happening around the community this holiday weekend.

Hillsborough Mayor Jenn Weaver joined 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, June 13. She discussed the town's recently passed budget, the approval of the town's Comprehensive Sustainability Plan, and some amendments made to the Collins Ridge Master Plan. She also discussed the results of a recent "Engage Hillsborough" session.

He also discussed the upcoming election including a new town planning candidate who currently serves on the town planning board.  He concluded by discussing some of the upcoming events around town, including this weekend's graduation ceremonies.

He also discussed many of the community Pride events coming up in Carrboro and Carrboro. He also discussed councilmember Barbara Foushee's announcement that she will run to be Carrboro's next mayor. He finished with some discussion of soccer in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.
