Dr. Laporta is an assistant professor of lactation physiology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After completing her PhD, Dr. Laporta spent five years on faculty at the University of Florida, so she is no stranger to heat stress! Over her career, so has studied the effect of heat stress on many animal classes.
