We kick off our very first episode of The Going Scared Podcast with a guest that perfectly defines what it means to “Go Scared.” Jalia Matovu is a Ugandan artisan and entrepreneur who started her business seven years ago. Despite tough times, financial hardships and discouragement, she persevered and providentially, she crossed paths with Jessica, who herself was taking a huge risk starting her own business.
