Cosmic Crimes

On November 9, 2010, Isakin Drabbad killed his girlfriend in Skara, Sweden, after a childhood marked by instability and time spent in institutional care. He grew up moving through fractured environments, with little sense of steadiness, and that background followed him into adulthood as isolation, drug use, and escalating violence took over. The details of his life point to someone shaped early by disconnection, then pulled deeper into chaos until the violence became impossible to separate from his identity.

His Sun conjunct Pluto reflects a life built around control, fixation, and destruction. With Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Uranus all in Scorpio, his thoughts, desires, actions, and impulses move through the same intense current. Scorpio adds secrecy and emotional pressure, but this concentration in his chart makes the energy more focused and more extreme. It gives the story a hard, closed-in quality, where obsession and rupture keep feeding each other.

Jeffrey Epstein built his power through quiet introductions that opened doors to extraordinary influence. A conversation on a flight led to a partnership with billionaire Leslie Wexner, anchoring him in the upper tiers of American business. From there, his reach expanded into political and global networks, intersecting with figures like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, and Ehud Barak. Behind the scenes, he managed fortunes, coordinated private travel, and positioned his Caribbean estate as a nexus for the elite, part investment hub, part control center, part stage for exploitation masked as exclusivity.

His Capricorn Rising framed a life oriented around hierarchy and access, structured like a ladder he was determined to climb. The Sun at 0° Aquarius in his first house fused visibility with detachment, giving him the ability to appear vital to powerful circles while remaining enigmatic and self-defined. An Aries Moon in the third house added restless charm and verbal agility, turning every encounter into a potential exchange of influence. Yet the square to Neptune in Libra blurred truth and performance, letting ambition disguise predation under the language of opportunity.

Ghislaine Maxwell's story begins with dynastic power and a father whose empire defined her sense of worth. Raised in privilege and pressure, she learned early that proximity to influence could function like armor. After her father's death and the collapse of his fortune, she repositioned herself inside Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle, using social fluency and pedigree to bridge the gap between high society and his hidden operations. By the time headlines caught up, she stood at the center of testimony describing not just a companion, but an active architect in the grooming and trafficking of underage girls.

Her Capricorn Sun shows a fixation on status, control, and survival through alignment with power. A Leo Moon points to a deep need to be chosen, admired, and central to the narrative, even when that meant playing a dark supporting role. With Gemini Rising, she moved as a quick-reading chameleon, fluent in charm, code-switching, and deflection, able to mirror the expectations of billionaires, royals, and victims in the same network without losing her place in the hierarchy.

In the rarefied world of wealth, influence, and private islands, Jeffrey Epstein built an empire on secrecy, manipulation, and access. For years, he moved through elite social circles with an air of authority and confidence, cultivating powerful connections while hiding a predatory double life that targeted vulnerable girls and young women. The shocking allegations, arrests, and eventual fallout exposed a network of enablers and a pattern of abuse that raised disturbing questions about power, protection, and who gets believed.

Epstein's Capricorn Rising lent him an image of control, status, and calculated ambition, helping him appear disciplined and indispensable in elite spaces. His Sun in Aquarius reflected a detached intellect and a tendency to operate outside conventional moral boundaries, pursuing unconventional arrangements that served his own ideas and obsessions. With the Moon in Aries, there was a volatile emotional core, marked by impulsive desire and a restless need for gratification that overrode empathy and restraint.

In the quiet town of Alba, Texas, a brutal crime in 2008 exposed the darkness that can grow behind youthful innocence. Sixteen year old Erin Caffey appeared to be the embodiment of small town promise, bright, charismatic, and deeply rooted in her church community. Beneath that image, resentment and obsession built over time until they erupted into an unthinkable act, the orchestration of her own family's murder.

As investigators untangled the case, they uncovered a chilling blend of teenage rebellion, romantic fixation, and suppressed rage that defied the image of a dutiful daughter. Erin's Leo Sun conjunct Chiron points to a wounded sense of self, a powerful need to be seen and loved that was fused with pain, humiliation, and pride. Her tight Venus Mars conjunction speaks to overwhelming desire and intensity without emotional brakes, while four outer planets retrograde suggest an inner world marked by distortion, resistance, and deep karmic tension.

In the summer of 2018, an image of suburban normalcy shattered in Frederick, Colorado. Behind the trimmed lawns and smiling family photos, Chris Watts led a double life that spiraled into one of the most haunting domestic crimes in recent memory. When Shanann Watts and their two young daughters vanished, the search quickly turned inward, unraveling a web of lies and carefully managed appearances.

As investigators closed in, the truth revealed a chilling contrast between outward calm and inner volatility. Watts's Taurus Sun grounded his image in steadiness and routine, while his Scorpio Rising masked deep emotional undercurrents, a need for control, secrecy, and reinvention. His Aries Moon ignited impulsive desires and unchecked anger, creating an internal storm beneath the surface of quiet suburbia.

In this episode, we examine the psychological unraveling of Chris Watts, from the pressures of an ordinary life to the fatal fracture between his projected stability and hidden unrest, and explore how his astrological blueprint reflects the convergence of suppressed passion, control, and catastrophic betrayal.

For nearly a century, the Cecil Hotel stood at the center of downtown Los Angeles, accumulating a history of death, instability, and unanswered questions. Long before it became synonymous with viral mystery, the building was marked by suicides, violent crime, and transient lives colliding in one place. In 2013, the disappearance and death of Elisa Lam brought renewed attention to the hotel, transforming it into a modern symbol of fear, speculation, and unresolved grief. In this episode, we examine the Cecil's layered history alongside Lam's final days. Through the lens of its chart, with the Sun at 28 degrees Sagittarius conjunct Jupiter at 0 degrees Capricorn, and Venus at 28 degrees Scorpio square Neptune in Leo, we explore themes of excess, illusion, and distorted meaning, and how one location became a canvas for projection, misunderstanding, and tragedy.

In November 1978, the remote settlement of Jonestown in Guyana became the site of one of the deadliest mass deaths in modern history. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of the Peoples Temple, had spent years cultivating loyalty, control and fear among his followers before leading more than 900 people to their deaths in a coordinated act of murder and coercion. What began as a movement built on promises of equality and community gradually transformed into an environment of isolation, paranoia, and absolute obedience. In this episiode, we trace Jones's rise from preacher to authoritarian figure, examine the escalating warning signs that preceded the tragedy, and explore how his Capricorn Rising, Taurus Sun and Aries Moon reflect the rigid authority, possessiveness, and explosive volatility that fueled one man's ability to dominate and ultimately destroy an entire community.

In the early decades of the 20th century, a series of disappearances and deeply disturbing crimes slowly converged around one man hiding behind the appearance of a frail, elderly drifter. Albert Fish targeted society's most vulnerable, moving through boarding houses, neighborhoods, and families with calculated patience while leaving devastation in his wake. His arrest revealed a pattern of extreme sadism, long-standing compulsions, and violence that spanned decades, shocking even seasoned investigators. In this episode, we trace Fish's progression from his early life marked by institutional trauma to the crimes that ultimately exposed him, and examine how his Taurus-heavy chart, paired with a likely Capricorn Moon, reflects obsessive endurance, rigid control, and a fixation on physical suffering carried out with chilling persistence.

In the early 2010s, investigators uncovered a serial killer whose crimes defied traditional patterns and challenged the limits of criminal profiling. Israel Keyes operated across the United States for years, carefully planning abductions, sexual assaults, and murders while leaving behind almost no forensic trail. He buried "kill kits" years in advance, selected victims at random, and avoided familiarity that might connect one crime to another. In this episode, we trace Keyes's methodical escalation, the chance encounter that led to his arrest, and the unsettling interviews that followed, where fragments of the truth emerged alongside calculated silence. Through the lens of his Capricorn Sun and Sagittarius Moon and Mercury, we examine how discipline, ideological detachment, and a need for control shaped a killer who viewed violence as both strategy and philosophy.
