Hunter Dickinson gave Luka Garza fits around the basket, and Franz Wagner scored 21 points to lead No. 3 Michigan to a 79-57 victory over No. 9 Iowa. The Wolverines passed yet another test against a highly ranked opponent after beating No. 4 Ohio State last weekend. Dickinson more than held his own against Garza in a much-anticipated matchup of two standout big men. Garza led the Hawkeyes with 16 points, but he shot 6 of 19 from the field. Dickinson scored 14 points.

Aaron Henry had 18 points to help Michigan State improve its chances of making the NCAA Tournament with a 71-67 win over No. 4 Ohio State on Thursday night, two days after coach Tom Izzo’s team beat No. 5 Illinois by nine points. The Spartans rallied from a nine-point, second-half deficit with Gabe Brown finishing with 11 points and Josh Langford making key plays at both ends of the court. The Buckeyes finished the game without coach Chris Holtmann, who was ejected for arguing with officials when he was called for a second technical foul with 1.4 seconds left.

Mekhi Lairy and Dalonte Brown scored 20 points apiece as Miami (Ohio) defeated Western Michigan 74-66. Elijah McNamara had 10 points for Miami. Precious Ayah added 10 rebounds and Brown had nine rebounds. Dae Dae Grant was held scoreless despite leading the RedHawks in scoring heading into the contest with 15 points per game. B. Artis White tied a career high with 20 points and had seven rebounds for the Broncos. Greg Lee added 18 points. Titus Wright had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Ohio 86, Eastern Michigan 67 – Vander Plas leads Ohio past Eastern Michigan 86-67
Ben Vander Plas registered 13 points, seven rebounds and eight assists as Ohio beat Eastern Michigan 86-67. Ben Roderick had 17 points for Ohio, which won its sixth straight game. Lunden McDay added 14 points. Ohio posted a season-high 30 assists. Ty Groce had 18 points for the Eagles, whose losing streak reached seven games. Bryce McBride added 17 points.
Buffalo 85, Central Michigan 73 – Hardnett leads Buffalo past Central Michigan 85-73
LaQuill Hardnett had a career-high 20 points plus 10 rebounds as Buffalo beat Central Michigan 85-73. Jeenathan Williams had 17 points for Buffalo. Jayvon Graves added 15 points and Ronaldo Segu had 14 points and 11 assists. Caleb Huffman had 24 points for the Chippewas, who have now lost seven games in a row. Ralph Bissainthe added 15 points and Matt Beachler had 12 points and seven rebounds.

NCAA – NCAA reveals COVID-19 contingency plans for hoops tourneys
The NCAA has come up with a contingency plan in case teams can't play in the March Madness tournaments because of COVID-19. The first four at-large teams that don’t make the original field will be placed in order and serve as replacement teams.
