NBA – NBA All-Star captains: It's LeBron James vs. Kevin Durant
The NBA All-Star Game is taking shape. LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn's Kevin Durant will be the playing captains for the March 7 game in Atlanta. The league says the game will generate more than $2.5 million for historically Black colleges and COVID-19 relief. The game has been criticized by some top players, who voiced concerns about having it during a pandemic. The other starters: Golden State's Stephen Curry, Dallas' Luka Doncic, Denver's Nikola Jokic, the Los Angeles Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo, Washington's Bradley Beal, Philadelphia's Joel Embiid and Brooklyn's Kyrie Irving.

Ali Patberg scored 21 points and No. 14 Indiana made a couple key defensive plays in the final minute to defeat No. 11 Michigan 70-65. Mackenzie Holmes had a key steal under the Michigan basket and a defensive rebound, plays that led to the closing free throws that allowed the Hoosiers to seal the game. The final score was Indiana’s largest lead of the game while Michigan’s big lead of six came late in the first quarter. There were 17 lead changes and 12 ties. Naz Hillmon had 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolverines.

NCAAFB – QB Joe Milton enters transfer portal, leaving Michigan
Michigan quarterback Joe Milton has entered the transfer portal, depleting coach Jim Harbaugh’s depth at the position. Milton made the announcement Thursday on Twitter, thanking Harbaugh for giving him an opportunity. Milton wrote that he will have three years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer. He won the starting job with the Wolverines last year after beating out Dylan McCaffrey.
