Humans produce millions of tons of trash each day, and getting rid of it has become a serious issue. Volcanoes are known for their destructive super powers, and they seem to be able to burn just about anything. What if it was possible to use volcanoes as the solution to our trash problem? Could they really be natural disposal stations?
A truck, loaded with wastes, dumped into a lava dome would result in a massive explosion with a lava discharge, followed by an outbreak of toxic gas spreading in the air. Lots of huge electric discharges would go through the ash clouds and lightning would strike everywhere around the volcano.
