  • Episode 30 - Mental Health Struggles
Mental health affects our daily life. It affects how we think, feel, and act. Mental health also helps to regulate how we manage stress, and our relationships with others, and make healthy choices. Our mental health is important at each developmental stage from childhood to adulthood.

Have you a friend or loved one struggling with their mental health? Noticing the first signs of mental health struggles in friends, family, and colleagues is the first step. Recognition of the early signs is the key and knowing what to look out for. We will identify some of the signs that might be observed in your friends or loved ones.

  • Episode 29 - Childhood Trauma
**Warning this episode talks about the effects of childhood trauma and its impact on adulthood.
While most children grow up in families that provide them with safe, happy, and healthy environments, for others life can be challenging. The path of life is difficult, painful, and hard to navigate. Young infants and children have no control over what happens to them or events in their lives, that is up to the adult. The adult carers and people in our life that should be the most caring and comforting are not necessarily so.
Childhood trauma is a major risk factor for the development of psychological and behavioural challenges later in life.
