They NY Times recently published a story on conservatives now "weaponizing" free speech. The claim is that progressives need to be skeptical of free speech absolutism. In the 60s, liberals were the champions of free speech. Today, the modern left is anti free speech and even the NY Times is saying that free speech is a libertarian issue now. Well duh. White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders was recently asked to leave a restaurant due to her politics. Maxine Waters is pushing for businesses and people, in general, to use segregation as a weapon once again. A gay couple demanded that a Christian cake decorator be forced at gunpoint to bake and decorate their wedding cake. What does all of this mean for libertarians?
