Coupled with Chaos

Today, we go out in public for the first time together since surgery to replenish supplies.  We survive and don't do any damage to society.

In this episode of Coupled with Chaos , Kelly talks about he shoulder surgery at Baylor Scott &White Surgicare Fort Worth, Texas and how difficult it is to be cared for at home when she's used to caring for everyone else.  We're completing Day 4 of live after surgery and have a long road of recovery in front of us.

Steve and Kelly discuss her scheduled shoulder surgery and the opiods she'll likely have prescribed along with some of the changes in our daily life due to the surgery and when we should schedule her addiction intervention on Dr. Phil.

Our Trip to Fredericksburg, TX highlighted by staying at the Livery Stable B&B, touring the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum and eating at Pritzer Sweet Shop, Auslander Restaurant, Pasta Bella, La Tequila Jalisco and the Rathskellar.

Previously on Coupled with Chaos you would've heard the story of how we met, engaged and married in five months.  The story continues in Part 2 as the two of us get into a bit of our family history with marriages, divorces and personal relationships and that maybe we've broken the cycle.   We talk about how Kelly made her decision to get out of a dangerous relationship when I came around and even if we didn't get together, her life would change.    We changed each other immediately and have grown together over time, but definitely have to get a king sized bed.

Kelly and I were engaged after spending a week together, Married in five months and are celebrating our 25th Anniversary this week.   We make an attempt at telling our story in part one of what turned out to be a two part episode.

In this episode of Coupled with Chaos, we discuss the details of Kelly's upcoming shoulder surgery, scheduling our first trip alone away from the kids in 23 years all while I pretend not to be watching the MLB umpires try to screw the Washington Nationals in Game 6 of the World Series.

Our regular date night was interrupted by life, but fear not, we didn't neglect our podcasting duties.  We discuss a new Netflix podcast, Unnatural Selection dealing with genetic modification and our evolving positions...minute-by-minute.

The first ever raking emergency has apparently struck Fort Worth about the same time we had a chaotic Bark Box delivery.  A typical Sunday evening as our scheduled guest host is still missing with the household yard rake.

Kelly and I discuss our date night trip to Olive Garden and the sudden impact that has on my 'system.'  We also touch on some medical updates and the possibility of shoulder surgery.
