I LOVE HAVING RETURN GUESTS!!! Michael Todd comes back to regale us with Greek/Roman History and GAMES! Mike has really come into his own in regards to the nerdy community. Mike has always been a gamer, but now he is venturing into the world of cosplay. We only talk about it for a second, but he is planning to do Floki from the series "Vikings". Mike is also hard at work on developing his wood working skills. I love the self motivating spirit that Mike puts forth everyday.

With this being the Cracked Brain Cosfit month, I think it's fitting to have a representative of the fitness community be on an episode. Jasmine Elliott, or what she has become known to many Atom Bomb Body, joins me on the Podcast. Jasmine has become an example of hard work and diligence. 

Unsatisfied with a regular "9-5" job, Jasmine invested herself fully into modeling and fitness. Since then, she has been able to compete in many body building competitions. During this time as well, Jasmine has developed a fondness of body paint modeling and cosplay. Using the creativity from her love of gaming and the results from determined training; she has been able to bring the characters that she loves so much to true life.

It's time to check back in with Kelly Poynter for more cosplay greatness! And then there's another guy on the episode... Brandon Peck. I think its about time we had a BONUS EPISODE!!! And who better to have on as a guest than our exquisite shadowcast performer, George Alcoser. If you remember from the last time that George was on the Podcast, he is a part of a local theatre group that performs in the style of Shadow Cast performances. Shadow cast is a style where the film version of the production plays behind the live version simultaneously. The live performers have the difficulty of remaining in-sync with the film, never detracting from the film being played, but also must bring a creative and alternate performance that goes hand in hand with what's being played behind them.

The performing group that George is a part of is Cosplay Productions. Cosplay Productions, is a fantastic group of cosplay performers that throw their all into every aspect of the performance. Being skilled cosplayers, gives them an understanding of the costuming and props that accompany the performance. In addition, the performing aspect requires them to portray their characters to the fullest.

In addition to Cosplay Productions, George is also a now experienced karaoke jockey. Black Out Entertainment is the company George performs as a KJ for during the week. With the unrelenting energy that comes naturally, George enlivens The Ice Haus to a fun, raucous degree.

Susan Mitchell is BACK ON THE PODCAST!!! And this time we didn't get subtly kicked out of the location we were recording in. (sorry Cori and Tui). Over the past few months, Susan has been hard at work creating more cosplays under the new name "Solar Shadows Cosplay".

Welcome to another episode where another new cosplay name is born. Melanie Hamburg, of Vanellope Von Osgood Cosplay, and Nadia Crimson, best known as Utah's Captain Jack Giving Back, join me on the podcast for quite a bit of fun. I'm sorry for the poor audio quality all around; this episode was recorded in the interim where the old laptops were all I had. It may be a little hard to hear, but I can assure you that you will all love this episode.

In addition to talking about espresso, movies, and cosplay stories; the new name for Nadia's cosplay was birthed as Fifty Shades of Nope.

Nadia has been a fantastic staple of the Utah cosplay community with the great charity help that she has been a part of as Capt Jack Sparrow. Her love for the character shines through brilliantly, with exquisite detail in the costume and a nearly flawless performance. I knew that portraying Captain Jack Sparrow was difficult, but Nadia briefly explains the true difficulties that come from acting like this iconic character.

And Melanie is just as recognizable to those in this community as well. Not only does she support Nadia in a great many cosplay endeavors, but also her fiance. The genuine interactions between the two is comedic, sincere, and enviable. Many have come to recognize Melanie as Warrior Fiona from "Shrek" or Sadness from "Inside Out"

In this Podcast, I try to deliver a comedic and fun experience getting to know cosplayers, prop makers, and more. But sometimes there are issues or events that I feel the need to highlight. One of these such issues is the matter of mental illness. Whether you cope with a mental illness or not, I'm sure you can agree that this particular matter is something that affects the majority of us. Autism, Bipolar Disorder, Dementia, Clinical Depression, Schizophrenia, and other such mental health conditions are becoming more and more common. And because of the openness of the internet, many have dealt with bullying, persecution, hurtful skepticism, and much more; from individuals that sharing an opinion.

Madame Moody sits down as we both weigh in on experiences and personal issues in regards to this matter. Although neither of us are licensed professionals, and do not claim to be, we both have dealt with mental illness in our daily lives. Missy, with diagnosed Clinical Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Myself, with mild Autism on the Aspergers Syndrome spectrum.

We highly encourage any and all that are affected by any mental issue, to listen and reach out to us to keep the conversation alive. If you have a story or experience that you want to share, feel free to comment and let people know your struggles. Well, looks like we finally hit that FIRST major milestone as a podcast. This is the 100th episode of the Cracked Brain Podcast! And rather than having a guest on, I decided to do an AMA (Ask Me Anything). Simultaneously, I had a livestream on the Cracked Brain Cospod Facebook Page.
