Cracked Brain Podcast

A little time has passed since Jax Bayne was last on the Podcast. However, so much has happened since then. Jax, has greatly improved as a streamer and a cosplayer. Her Twitch streams have become much more interactive and largely more fun. And the skill in her cosplay has developed even further as well. To the point that others, such as the developers of the game Banner Saga 3 noticed and asked Jax to help represent their game at PAX East 2018.

"Let no 2 episodes be the same" is something that I try to keep consistent with this podcast. And I can't think of another episode that best showcases that than this one today. Tea, of TinyTeaCos, and Sonia, of Sommertime Is The Best, not only unleash the amazing chaos that is their friendship; but honestly kind of take over the podcast in general. And this is not something I am mad about. These fabulous individuals are not only talented and hardworking cosplayers, but honestly have more fun together than some long time friends do. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to sit down and chat with both of them, and I sincerely hope that we do it again sometime.

Well, I honestly thought that this episode was lost to the horror that was the "broken old laptop". But thankfully, I was able to find a copy. And I hope everyone is ready for the chaos that follows when 2 idiotic men start talking about games, cosplay, and Ace Ventura. Aaaaaaand I guess Sami was there too. Sami Lamae and Mitch McFarland join me for this insane episode.

Many of you are already familiar with Sami Lamae's exquisite cosplay work. Sami has been a fantastic addition to the Utah cosplay community. Her diligent efforts to bring every character to life shine through her work magnificently. However, the rising star of this episode is Mitch McFarland. Mitch cosplays every so often, in a wide variety of character ranges. But more prominently, Mitch and his brother Brad create some of the funniest YouTube gaming content I've seen as of late. Their channel, Some Stupid Gaming Channel, delivers quality humor to retro games. If you haven't heard of their channel, it is definitely worth a watch and a subscribe on YouTube.

So you all are about to hear when I totally mess up. I try to never edit an episode, because I think it's very important to keep it natural and real. Well, in the first 10 minutes you will hear me think I'm talking to a completely different guest altogether. I now know where the mix up originated, but even so I totally could have prevented this.

But, enough rambling, today's guest is a truly talented cosplayer and animator that hails all the way

Well, this episode is sure to be a memorable one.

What happens when you put 4 redheads in front of a microphone? The most entertaining beautiful chaos you've ever seen. 4 lovely returning champions of the Podcast return to allow us the experience of The Gingersnaps Episode. Madame Moody, Cinna Moore Bun, Candace Chesley, and Carly Rae Hardman join me (because I can't say "sat down" due to them all almost never sitting down) and just chat it up.
