Pardon the slightly longer intro to this episode. There were a few things that I needed to say first. But, this episode is all about.......STAR WARS!!! Well to be specific, it's about Mandolorians, Star Wars Rebels, Clone Wars, and a few other things. Michael Neff, or just Neff, joins me on today's episode to dive into everything I just listed up above here. Neff is not only an extremely caring cosplayer; but he also charitably assists those in need in the community. He and Bill Rowe host Cosplay Night at The Union, a Salt Lake City local tavern. The mission of Cosplay Night is to bring the community together to have fun, and to assist a sponsored person or organization in need. As a previous "assisted individual", these events truly help emotionally and financially. I wholeheartedly support this endeavor, and ask that all who can attend to please do so.

It's FEBRUARY (stay tuned to the CrackedTube Podcast on YouTube to know why that is funny, SUCK IT PECK) and that means that we are days away from the premier of Black Panther. And who better to have on as a guest than my cosplay sister Kiki Furia. It's been a little bit since Kiki has been on the Podcast, and that girl has been BUSY! Between doing more cosplay, moving, hosting panels, being on podcasts, and GRADUATING WITH HER MASTERS; Kiki still finds the time to dedicate an astronomical amount of time to continuing her work in the cosplay support group Cosplay Connect.

I think it's about time for another online episode! And I couldn't be happier than bringing Andy Danger Cosplay on the podcast. Andy is a fabulous cosplayer from Georgia, in the United States. With a little over 2 and a half years of cosplay under her belt, she has been able to create some visually striking and technically exquisite costumes. Never shrinking back from a challenge, Andy has experimented with different materials, electronics, rigging, and various mechanical techniques. And never restraining herself to one genre, this talented artist has created cosplays from recognizable properties such as Pokemon, Mass Effect, Star Trek, Durarara, and many more!!!
Hey!!! I finally did an episode where we stayed on cosplay as a topic. Lightning strikes every now and then, I guess.
Becky of Becky's Creative Adventures joins me on the Podcast to share her experience of competing in cosplay contests, choosing her next challenging cosplay, and the imposibility of sitting down in foam armor.
Becky has been recognized as a cosplayer that does not stay stagnant. The increasing complexity of each new cosplay, reveals talent, ingenuity, and a keen eye for detail. And rather that trying to rush a cosplay for a certain event every year; Becky takes her time to get in every detail and feature that she can possibly introduce. Often finding a way to achieve an effect that stuns every person around.

Get ready for a giggly nostalgia episode. Ainsley Bircher of Pigtails & Power Tools Cosplay joins me on this particular episode. Well known for her Samus Aran cosplay, Ainsley has been one of the premier cosplayers in Utah and across the country. With a keen eye to detail, she is able to bring every one of her masterpieces to hyper-realistic life. Ainsley has had the immense priviledge to judge quite a few of our cosplay contests at a variety of local events.
In addition to work already discussed, Ainsley has shared her cosplays to a broader audience by attending numerous conventions throughout the country. Many have recognized her great talent in the realm of intricate detail and lively performance. And far from losing the perspective of where she came from, Ms. Bircher has done her utmost to give back in ways that she can. She has instructed classes at a few locations such as Beck Leather & Crafts and Anarchy Girls Cospace.

Definitely had quite a bit of fun on this episode. Between disrupting an entire study room full of people, and then conjuring the chaos that is Carly, I'm really happy with this one. Half of the duo of Wolf and Saturn Cosplay. I've had the immense pleasure of speaking with Wolf of the duo and getting her assistance on a few upcoming projects. In addition to being a great cosplayer, she shines as a beacon of determination and hard work among those that know her. Listen in as we talk about our cosplay projects and future plans.

Between naming this episode "There's a Mermaid Under the Table" and "Go Ask Your Mom", you could say that I had a wonderful time. The amazing ladies of the Sandy Sirens, Utah Mermaids, and the Mermaids of the Great Salt Lake showed me a FIN-tastic time. Yeah that's right, A FIN PUN! If you've ever been curious about mermaid life, then this is the episode for you. These women share all of the great, fun, and irritating stories that they've experienced over the last years in the Mer-community.
