This is the film with that oft-uttered line "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" Joshua and Ian watch to see how well we're coming along 45 years later. 

We haven't done a wholly silent film yet, so we went with Buster Keaton and got everything we figured we'd get, and then some.

We watch this hippie classic to try and see things from the Boomer point of view. Topics attempted include work, leisure, drugs, freedom, and money. We'll see if that's too much work for us.

Halloween is nigh, so naturally we have a taste for horror. Carrie should do the trick. We discuss bullying, puberty, and gym teachers. A different sort of horror.

'Tis the season, so we're finally watching Rocky Horror! Joshua swoons a bit and tries real hard not to do the Time Warp, while Ian makes a foolhardy attempt to dissect the plot.

The movie: The Ballad of Narayama (1958)

Ian and Joshua watch a Japanese story centered on death, elder abuse, and demon teeth.  

Movie: The Magnificent Ambersons

This week, Ian and Joshua watch the other good Orson Welles film to see if it can beat Citizen Kane in its mediocrity. Will the comeuppance be worth it? Or will we lose all our money for nothing?

The Movie: Ocean's 11 (1960)

It's lucky episode 77, so we decided to watch a Vegas movie that needs a lot of luck. We have low expectations for this heist featuring The Rat Pack but very little singing. Maybe our initial disdain will lessen over time.

The movie: What Ever Happened to Baby Jane

Joshua and Ian hope for a classic bombshell feud. Instead, Joshua's anger gets the better of him. 

Movie: Casablanca

We finally watch this Bogie classic, and Ian admits to it being his first time. Will it go the way of "Citizen Kane" and just be meh? Or is the roulette wheel rigged to say otherwise?
