Analysis paralysis is such a common thing for creatives and chocolatiers. That initial decision to get over the "fear hump" is a big one, but once you do, the chocolate journey becomes so much easier. Entrepreneurship, as a whole, becomes so much easier. 

That's the experience I've had anyways.

Something I've learned over the last 15+ years of doing chocolate, is that similar to chocolate, business can have an exponential curve. As someone who really felt like the BUSINESS side of things was always very daunting, I realized that there is so much to be said by focusing on ONE key thing at a time. 

I see chocolatiers all the time struggling in their businesses because they cannot see or refuse to spend the time to focus on the ONE key thing that will actually keep their business afloat: in this example, sales.

In this very raw podcast, I'm sharing some insights I gained from watching Season 2 of The Bear, AND some personal things I've realized most certainly this year.

Going after what you want in life is hard enough; it's harder when you don't have the full support that you need and want, especially when it's lacking from the people who are literally family.

I share why I decided to distance myself in some of my own personal relationships, and what I've learned by witnessing other hugely successful entrepreneurs do the same.

This is, in no way, a diss to blood. It's the complicated relationship dynamic and mental health issues that arise when your own personal dreams don't make sense for those close to you. Which is why, again, I made the decision to just let them go.

In the second part of this 2-part series, I dive into how I learned the business side of chocolate, which then enabled me to actually have a profitable and successful business.

Learning the business side of things can often times feel
somewhat vague or confusing, and for the longest time, I would say it was my
hugest struggle.

By committing myself to the process, investing in
a business mentor, and really staying consistent to the process, I was able to
truly transform my chocolate passion into my full-time living. In this video, I
share what I learned and how it led up to all of that.
