This episode begins with a new season of life. As Sean and I begin our lives together, and I focus all my energy on starting and building Creative Thursday, the stress levels begin to have an effect on my health.
I step you through an intense health experience that lead to the beginning of chapter 2 of my fertility story.

What do you do?
Do you leave it as is or fulfill your original vision?
What if your Collector won't like the work once it's finished?
Inspired by a question Nadia asked in the Expansive Artists. She shared that her work was "in that awkward teenage stage where she doesn't want to touch them for fear that people won't like them..."
...I know how the story ends! What did Nadia decide and how did it work out?
Grab your sparkling beverage of choice (I happen to be sipping a glass of Lamarc Prosecco on this episode) or your favorite treat and tune in to hear my thoughts on how I handle this fear, and spoiler alert, we're going to do some celebrating...!!

In Stu speak "Hot Diggity Dog"! The reason my business just had it's best month (thus far!).... I've been holding out on you. Very selective about who I choose to work with, and invest in when it comes to Mentors, and equally as selective about who I choose to recommend to you (as I explain in my longer than normal intro to you in this episode)
I'm honored and excited to share and recommend my business coach for the past year with you, Stu McClaren. If you don't yet know Stu, oh you will! And you'll be so glad you do, because Stu, a generous, kind-hearted entrepreneur is the master at helping all industries (especially the Creatives!) build and grow recurring revenue models in their businesses.
In our chat today, he is sharing some powerful success stories with you that I know will leave you fired up and thinking about possibilities you may never have thought of before.
Be sure to jump in and join Stu for his once a year only Free Tribe Workshop. You'll learn so much. I'll see you there!

Two weeks after this conversation, the doors to Apotheca temporarily closed. Recorded pre-Covid-19, the mission Alyssa shares in this conversation is precisely the same mission and intention that is supporting her business today. Her quick thinking, ongoing strength, flexibility and innovation is not only keeping her business going, but creating opportunity for the future of Apotheca and the work Alyssa plans to do in Floral Design and Business Coaching.
I know hearing her story through the lease of what we're experiencing at the time this podcast was published will invite you to recognize Alyssa's genuine, inspiring, heart-centered qualities that are the key to building a lasting business, even through extraordinary times.
Her mission and message is a powerful one that extends far beyond the beautiful floral creations that she's been sharing with the world for 15 years.

With plans to record this episode pre-Covid-19 my conversation with Artist and Creative Business Mentor, Heidi Easley could not come at a better time.
Rising from the financial bottom to growing an incredibly successful business, with massive leaps just in the past 12 months, I know you are going to be completely inspired by Heidi's story of faith, dedication and resilience especially now.

As we head into April, my 5th consecutive week at home, with news suggesting we'll be in quarantine through May here in California, I am beginning to settle into my new normal making plans that look very different than I envisioned just a few weeks ago, as I'm sure you are too.
I decided early on as this crisis took hold, I had 2 choices, let fear, panic and sadness sweep me away or do my best to focus on appreciation, new beginnings, silver linings and all the ways I could share more that might offer support to you. Every day I do what I can to find my center amidst the chaos and here are my 15 ways to I find peace in Quarantine Times.

For my Creatives and Small Business Owners, Financial Relief for you!
I just uploaded a brand new podcast episode, a conversation with my friend and financial strategist for the Creatives, Claire Van Holland.
A lot has happened in a week, especially here in the U.S. and I want all of you to know more, if you don't yet, about the relief that may be available for you, as an Artist and Small Business Owner. Programs, Grants, and Relief that has never been available ever before, is available now. In fact there's a new PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) rolling out it's application invitation tomorrow, Friday April 3.
Claire is sharing her expertise and guidance to all who might need her help in understanding these programs so she hopped on an Instagram Live with me yesterday and I've shared our conversation with you here in this new episode. Hang in, take good care. Don't hesitate to get the support and assistance you need.
