Welcome to the first episode in a new mini-series telling stories of moments, experiences, risks taken that have gone "wrong" - in quotes because - is it really wrong? Thank you to my instagram friends who helped me choose the title "When things go "Wrong"" The more I thought about it the more I realized it is the perfect way to describe the stories I will be sharing. This episode is the introduction to the inspiration behind this series and the story about how my first published book met it's end.

It's Thanksgiving day. While I am talking about appreciation, it's not your usual approach to being thankful. This episode is the beginning of a new mini-series...I'm temporarily titling...when things go "wrong". I share with you a story about a devastating moment and what happened after...

Happy Thanksgiving! A heartfelt thank you for listening to Creative Thursday. It's an honor and privilege to be invited into your listening world.

No More Excuses! "Cue the Confetti!!!!" Join me for a special conversation (and celebration of the 100th Creative Thursday episode!) with Illustrator and Designer Helen Dardik. One of my very first podcast guests, Helen returns to catch up on life, creativity and work 11 years later. She shares her secrets to success on life as a Working Artist, from how your tribe will find you, what it takes to grow a huge Instagram following, why it's not only about talent, why you MUST show your work even if you're scared and why being slightly discontent leads to you to more happiness.

This episode is brought to you by Helen and my Painting Workshop coming to Los Angeles this December; Opera Florals and Character Blues. Join us for one day or the whole weekend.

The most Controversial or rather Thought Provoking Podcast I shared in 2011, plus my thoughts on the same topic today. It's vulnerable. It's revealing a little of my underbelly. And it's causing me to reflect on the direction I'm headed.

The topic of Art and Money is still a favorite among listeners, and one that we are unfortunately still just scratching the surface on - along with the importance of Valuing Yourself and Your Work, BUT! Ten years later we are making progress and that's a great thing! I'll be adding a lot more to this conversation with a special guest next week and a collaborative Masterclass this month, so stay tuned for more details. Until then, as promised in response to my earlier episodes, I'm sharing (the beginning) of my thoughts on "Art and Money"... 10 years later.
