Crime Bit with Danelle Hallan

33-year-old Jared McCulloch headed from his home in Marion Louisianna on November 4th, 2023 to allegedly visit his son in Benton, Illinois. He never made it. Instead, his truck was found two days later just over the Illinois/Indiana state line with his two beloved dogs still inside. His family has fought to put together a timeline that is muddled with Daylight savings time, time zones, and numerous conflicting stories from the only person he was speaking to when he vanished. Help bring Jared Home.

On May 25, 2009, 5-year-old Nevaeh Buchanan went missing while playing outside her apartment in Monroe, Michigan. Law enforcement immediately focused on two known sex offenders who were friends with Nevaeh's mother. However, after a two-week search, her remains were found encased in cement along the River Raisin. Despite the involvement of numerous persons of interest and years of investigation, justice for Nevaeh has yet to be achieved.

Noah Presgrove, a 19-year-old, was found by the roadside on Hwy 81 in Terral, Oklahoma on Labor Day 2023. Initially deemed a hit-and-run, the authorities quickly shifted their focus to a suspicious death investigation. Noah had been at a 4-day party when he died, and both authorities and his family have been told conflicting stories about the events of that weekend. His manner of death is currently undetermined and the search for the truth is ongoing.

• If you are able, I encourage you to show some support to Noah's family by making a donation to this GoFundMe. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bring-justice-for-noah?cdn-cache=0

18-year-old Theo Hayez had only a few days left in his months-long backpacking adventure. He went out with fellow backpackers on May 31st, 2019 where he was ultimately booted from a bar. This left him alone in a place he was unfamiliar with. Despite putting in the directions to his hostel numerous times, Theo went in the opposite direction. His path and pace that was Google-tracked made it seem he knew exactly where he was going....but how could he? Searches found only his hat and ultimately police deemed it misadventure. But locals, his family, the coroner, and other experts say foul play is absolutely a possibility.
