December 6th, 2014 a volunteer fire department is responding to a car blaze call when they are met with the unthinkable. A young woman has been set on fire and left for dead. Media sources are quick to report the woman was trying to communicate with the first responders. She unfortunately passed away shortly after she was attacked. Was the young woman able to name her killer? If she did why would it take a year to make an arrest? With Jessica Chambers' murder the focal point of so many news headlines why does the public know so little about the crime? On September 6, 1982, eight people were killed on a fishing boat. The boat, the Investor, sailed from a small fishing village known as Craig in southeast Alaska. 

The man, who authorities said was a white man in his 20s with a pockmarked face, shot and killed all eight people aboard the Investor. 

The man then returned to the boat after docking it and set the craft of the boat on fire. He then vanished.

The killer was never caught. To this day, the Investor massacre remains a cold case.

Katherine Mary Knight is the first Australian woman to be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. She was convicted for the murder of her partner, John Charles Thomas Price, in February 2000, and is currently imprisoned at the Silverwater Women's Correctional Centre in New South Wales.

The 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping was the abduction of a school bus driver and 26 children, ages five to 14, in Chowchilla, California, United States, on July 15, 1976. The kidnappers held their captives in a box truck buried in a quarry in Livermore, California, intending to demand a ransom for their return.
