  • Ep 1066 - Let's Cancel February Next Year
A new podcast, talking about IU men's basketball's struggles, might not be what you're in the mood for right now, but that's what we've got. Scott adds some additional thoughts to continue the conversation that we had with Tony in the last podcast, and we chat about some of the problems Indiana is going to have kickstarting its off-season given the state of other programs in similar situations.

Also my apologies for anyone who was expecting a Battle of Hastings reference. Tried our best but couldn't figure out a way to make it happen organically.

  • Ep 1065 - Tony Adragna Visits The Podcast
It has been a very difficult week for IU men's basketball. Tony Adragna joins the CrimsonCast to talk through the functional and systemic issues plaguing the team, the struggles that the program is facing in terms of public perception, and the overall trajectory of everything.

  • Ep 1064 - IUWBB Iowa Week
This week on CrimsonCast, the IndyStar's Zion Brown joins Kevin and Amanda to break down what happened in the Illinois loss and also discuss the game of the year for IU against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

  • 1063 - The Vibes Are Not Immaculate
Indiana lost at home to Northwestern, so we are here to talk about it. We discuss the lack of enthusiasm in Assembly Hall, the disappointing but not surprising aspects of the team's performance, the difficult circumstance that fans find themselves in, and the concerning lack of clear answers as to why the team is struggling so much this year.

  • Ep 1062 - EA Sports College Football 25 Reaction Mini-Episode
A quick hitter of a podcast focusing on the social media announcement from today regarding EA Sports resurrection of the NCAA/College Football video game series. We didn't get a huge amount, but we got some things worth talking about in advance of the "official" announcement supposedly coming in May. The doctor talks through the things he's excited about in relation to the game, but also things he's concerned about.

  • Ep 1061 - The Chris Dittoe Interview
On this edition of the show, the doctor interviews former IU starting quarterback Chris Dittoe, who played for Indiana football from 1992 through 1996.

Chris takes us through his entire history with the Hoosiers, starting with his high school recruitment, his first memories traveling with the team, the quarterback battles that defined his first two varsity years, and some of the successes that IU had during that period. We also talk in depth about the end of the Mallory era and what triggered it, from the struggles in recruiting to the issues with approach and gameplan.

It's a fascinating window into a critical period of IU football history, and we appreciate Chris taking the time to give us his perspective on how things went during those years.

  • Ep 1060 - Running Out Of Things To Say
Some thoughts after IU's 20 point loss in West Lafayette. Fair warning - we've gone over a lot of this ground before, since many of the issues with the team seem to revert back to a combination of roster construction, system, and culture. So if you feel up to speed on those items, you can probably skip this episode.

Also at the end - some bonus thoughts on Saturation Theory as it relates to media coverage, pop stars, women's basketball, TV commercials, and media.

  • Ep 1059 - IUWBB and the Full-Court Press, Triple-Doubles, and Scoring Records (and More)
On this week's episode, Kevin and Amanda discuss what went wrong for Indiana at Ohio State and how they were able to bounce back from that loss to beat Michigan State in one of the best games of the season at Assembly Hall. They also preview the Hoosiers' matchup against Purdue on Sunday, which is set to be one of the most monumental games in program history, as Mackenzie Holmes is only 17 points away from becoming the program's all-time leading scorer.

  • Ep 1058 - Listener Questions
We asked for questions, and you folks delivered! We tackle some listener questions about:
    • What IU needs to do to make the NCAA tournament
    • How the Big Ten - SEC alliance might affect college basketball, Notre Dame, and other items
    • How a good offesason might affect Mike Woodson's status
    • Why being an IU basketball fan feels so frustrating
Plus a few others. We didn't get to all of them, which means we'll be doing a second Q&A soon to get to some of those. Thanks to all of you who wrote in!

  • Ep 1057 - A Problematic Loss
Indiana fell apart at home against Penn State, getting outscored by 18 points in the second half and dropping a game that they simply could not afford to lose. Scott and Galen break down the loss, discussing some of the key moments that went wrong and the larger implications from the game. We also discuss the Back Home Network get-together at The Upstairs Pub, which was a delightful time that allowed us to see many of you in the audience. Thank you for taking the time to join us and we'll see you next year!
