After a couple weeks off, Kevin and Amanda recap the close-out to Indiana women's basketball's non-conference schedule and what it means heading into the Hoosiers' conference schedule. They also talk about the Big Ten as a whole and preview Indiana's matchup against Illinois on Dec. 31.

Scott is back from vacation, so he and Galen catch up on what's happened over the past week. We chat about IU's win over North Alabama, their surprising accuracy from three point land, and what it might all mean in the long term. We also discuss some of IU's defensive inadequacies and how important it will be for the coaching staff and players to address that heading into Big Ten season.

We also catch up on the football front and discuss Cignetti and staff's first few weeks, the growing interest in IU football, and how to think about the program in the new era.

Indiana had a fascinating National Signing Day for football, and we brough Taylor Lehman from Bite Size Bison on to talk about it. We recap the portal signings, the high school signings, how the roster is shaping up, and what we can figure out about how Cignetti and his staff are going to approach next year with the roster as it currently sits.

Indiana dropped a tough one at home to Kansas on Saturday of this week. The effort was there but the result ultimately was not. We talk a bit about the feelings coming out of this game, and the road Indiana now faces in the Big Ten.

We then welcome Taylor Lehman from Bite Sized Bison on to talk about the fun week that IU football has had, including the Hoosiers making some surprise portal retentions, what they seem to be looking for in additions through both the portal and recruiting, the clear change in philosophy that the program has undergone in relation to in-state recruiting, and the overall change in atmosphere and attitude around the football program in the last couple of weeks.

Indiana had a good start to the second full week of the Cignetti era, picking up some recruits and retaining a couple of people who entered the portal. What does the big picture look like for the football program? We break that down, and try to parse what we’ve learned over the first week and a half of the new era.

We then move along to men’s basketball, who followed up last week’s era of good feelings by laying a gigantic egg in Atlanta, getting thrashed by Auburn in the process. We discuss the issues around the game, the program’s struggles against quality national opponents, and what seems to lie at the heart of Indiana’s issues.
