This is an inadvertant two-part podcast. Part 1 was recorded second, in the immediate aftermath of IU's announcement that offensive coordinator Walt Bell had been relieved of his duties. We discuss our thoughts on that, as well as where it sits within the larger soap opera of IU football's 2023 vintage.

Part 2 was our regularly scheduled Maryland recap podcast. We chat about the listlessness of IU on both sides of the ball, the disappointing lack of progress, and the challenges facing the program as they move foward with "evaluations" and whatnot.

Indiana escaped last week with a lucky two-point win in 4 overtimes against Akron. The challenge is significantly stiffer this week as the Hoosiers travel to College Park to take on a red hot Maryland team. Can IU rise to the challenge? Can the Hoosiers get their offense on track? Will Indiana's defense start to flash more of the promise they showed in the first half against Ohio State? We tackle those answers and look at the statistics that could decide this game.

James and Scott are back for Week 5 of a smaller B1G Slate of games.
They review all the lines and provide a final review of the IUFB v Akron game. Also, is this the last time you can get value on IUFB?

Finally, our two adopted teams (USC and Colorado) meet, so that is discussed, along with James's very successful parlay of the week.

A quick preview of this weekend's IU-Akron football matchup. Akron is...not good. Indiana isn't great, but they're better than the Zips, and this matchup could give IU a big confidence boost heading into a critical four-game stretch. We talk about the numbers behind the game, some of the areas IU needs to focus on improving, and what the ideal outcome for the Hoosiers would be.

Also discussed: IU returning to the black uniforms for the first time in over 25 years. And the folly of promotion/relegation in college sports.

Galen and Scott are back, as IU Basketball released their full schedule today. They look at why they are both optomistic about how the B1G portion of the schedule looks for IU.

Galen gives his early record prediction, while Scott doesn't commit to a number, but rather a finishing position in the conference.

Indiana gave us a classic mixed bag performance against Louisville, coming back from a big deficit at halftime only to lose 21-14. We try to parse out the positives from the negatives, discuss the decisions and playcalling that led to the outcome, and evaluate some of the performances from individual players throughout the contest.

Scott and James are back for a short Week 3 podcast, but they hit all the B1G lines. James eats his crow for believing in Nebraska yet again. They also provide thoughts on the IU v Louisville game.
