Growing up as a single child in rural Waikato was where the love and passion for Rugby started for Jesse Wood, however suffering an ACL injury at 16 forced him to take a different path in the Rugby industry. 

After studying for a few years, he secured a job at the NZ Herald as a journalist. Off the back of his love for Rugby and stats, he created Rugby Mashup; an Instagram page dedicated to Rugby content no one has seen before.

Being the middle child of three boys was the childhood reality for Isaac with all 3 Ratumaitavuki-Kneepkens boys set out for big things in New Zealand Rugby. Chiefs U18's, Fiji U20's and Chiefs Development were all accomplishments for him, but his biggest struggle was in 2018 when he suffered two back to back season ending injuries.

Isaac describes his struggles as he went through a mental rut as a result of the Rugby environment and his journey of self development since, what made him start his passion The Good Feels and what it means to him.

18 years old with a massive career in front of him, he's going to learn and move on from it. 

What were you doing when you were 18?

Lets build him up instead of breaking him down - proud of him for being transparent.

I got a message from a friend asking if I could try and get Troy Savage on the CRM Podcast. I messaged him and he replied almost immediately, a week later we're chopping it up!

After growing up in Napier and his older brother getting scouted to the Sydney Roosters, they ended up offering him an opportunity too. 10 years later and a stint at the Parramatta Eels too, he never ended up playing a single game of NRL.

One of the most humble dudes you'll ever meet made time for me as we chopped it up about the good old days. Ben and I first met each other at the ripe age of 8 at Colgate Games, 9 years later we were facing one another when King's met Sacred Heart 1st XV. One year out of school and we were donning the mighty Hautapu hoops too.

Comparing our childhood growing up on a farm and moving to the big smoke of Auckland for boarding school, Ben also covers how he managed to cop 6 knee reconstructions in as many years and how his new passion of groundskeeping for golf courses and Rugby Stadiums has put him in good steed.

Disclaimer: This is my opinion only! Off the back of Quade Cooper's comeback performance against South Africa, I wanted to highlight the positives and negatives of Noah Lolesio getting benched by the Wallabies.

The media put a negative spin on these things but this is a positive one. In summary:
- Noah is 21 years old playing International Rugby, give the kid a break. He's done really well fitting into the Wallabies mould the last few seasons.
- The Commentators need to be better. Ex-All Blacks can't be dogging a 21 year old for trying his hardest, them of all people should know better.
- It's evident Quade has a wider approach to Rugby now, Noah is lucky that Quade is there to help him instead of tear him down.
- Important time for the Wallabies if they want a long term First Five in Noah.

Few of my opinions in here. Positive reinforcements for both players who are fu*ken good at what they do.  Flipping that negative connotation to a positive one.
