Crossroads - Weekend Messages

Every fire starts with a single spark, every journey with a single step...So what if there was one key to unlock all the transformation you’ve always longed for in your life? Everything about our lives changes the first time we encounter Jesus, and our response to him cascades into our lives in amazing ways. Jesus is the spark that catalyzes an amazing work of redemption in our lives...and in the world. If you’re longing for transformation in your own life, join us for our new message series, Spark!

So often, we want the benefits of our long-term goals...but we give into short-term appetites instead. We try to satisfy ourselves with things that bring instant gratification, and we give up too easily on what we’re really hoping for. But as we follow Jesus, the hard work we put in in the middle of our stories is the launchpad for the joy God promises us in the end. Join us this Sunday as we learn about the key to resting in our future joy in the here and now, no matter what’s going on.

Nobody wants a boring life - we all want to be part of something extraordinary. And we’ll do almost anything to scratch that itch sometimes: travel, chase business ventures, try extreme sports - sometimes we even pursue things that can hurt us...but ultimately our longing for adventure, for something more, is God-given. Jesus invites each of us to a life of purpose and mission, and he’s even given us his Spirit to empower and prepare us for that mission. Join us this weekend as we discover how we can experience delight and purpose in a way we never have before!

How do we really experience peace when so often it seems like the whole world is falling apart? When we’re filled with longing for things to change in our circumstances or relationships, how do we find contentment? If you’ve looked everywhere for peace and security and it still seems out of reach, don’t miss this week’s message! Join us as we learn from the Apostle Peter how to unlock the peace we’ve all been waiting for.

Salvation is one of those things we talk about all the time but almost never understand fully...and we wonder, does it even really matter if we can’t explain it? The thing is, how we’re saved spiritually has enormous implications for every single area of our lives. We all need to be saved, not just for eternal life, but from the messes we get ourselves in every day. Jesus wants to offer us hope in the here and now, in the very circumstances we find ourselves in presently! Join us this Sunday for a life transformation message that will change how you see everything.

Something about understanding gives us a sense of control...if we could just understand why things happen in our lives, we might be able to dictate the outcome of our circumstances. But even with the access we have to information, the harsh reality is, not only are there tons of things we’ll never understand in life, we were never really in control to begin with. Join us this Sunday for the next message in our Plot Twist series, as we all learn the key to embrace the mysteries in our lives and find the peace and freedom we’ve been dreaming of all along.

Our lives are full of plot twists, circumstances or people that totally catch us off guard - sometimes in the best ways, and sometimes in ways we really dislike. The Bible’s got a major plot twist too: the fact that God’s people, Israel, rejected Jesus as their Savior is truly unexpected and disturbing. But the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to the church in Rome thousands of years ago is just as powerful for the plot twists of our lives today. Join us Sunday for the start of our new series, and encounter the God whose promises to us outlast even life’s craziest plot twists.

Every spring, all the world is reborn from the cold of winter, and the seasons mimic the way God designed our lives to work too. We all experience seasons of suffering that feel like “death” in our lives...God’s story of redemption for the world didn’t end with Jesus’ death - but with his resurrection! With Jesus, the places in our lives that feel like the dead of winter right now are "compost" - the surprisingly fertile ground through which God wants to bring forth new life and resurrected dreams, as we trust him. Join us as we celebrate Easter and the resurrection God is writing into each of our stories!
