Jesus is greater than everything. That's what the Bible is all about and that's definitely what Galatians is all about. As we learn to reorganize our lives around Jesus,
everything looks different.

As we continue this amazing study, we find ourselves in the
second half of Galatians 2, where we unpack a very important lesson, that Jesus > Our Lives. Instead of living our own lives and reaping the results, Paul shows us how to die with Jesus and let Him live through us!

The children of Israel are continuing to in the wilderness, both actually and spiritually. This section of the book of Numbers shows us their rebellion against God's chosen leadership, Moses and Aaron. After Korah's rebellion, there is another challenge of God's chosen leadership. Again, the Lord decides.

Every single person has a story. And every person is important to God. And every story is important to God. That is why our past is called history. Because Jesus is real, every story is truly His Story. Like the Apostle Paul, many of us have pasts that are not neat and tidy. We have made mistakes. We have dishonored God. But our God is a God of redemption and forgiveness.

Join us this weekend as we continue to study Paul’s letter to the Galatians. In this study, Paul will use his own story to remind us that Jesus > Your Past.

As the children of Israel find themselves in the Wilderness, they are continually challenged to follow after God. Part of following God was learning how to trust God by trusting their God-given leaders. But as we have seen, Moses' and Aaron's authority was continually challenged. In this new instance of rebellion, we will see Korah and his allies challenging God's authority with dire results.

Every follower of Jesus knows that our relationship with God must be the highest priority of life. In order to live truly satisfying lives, Jesus must be greater than everything. We also struggle to keep the main thing the main thing. But we are not alone. All believers struggle to keep our priorities in line.

As we begin a brand-new series, "Jesus is greater than Everything," we will find that the church in Galatia struggled with the exact same thing. But the Apostle Paul, with the loving heart of a pastor, writes to them a letter of challenge and encouragement.
