This message reminds us that we see God’s hand in our life most clearly when we go through trials. Even though Israel experienced some really tough times, God was at work before their crisis even started. He will make beauty out of the ashes of your life too! Whenever you go through hard situations, there is reason for hope. Watch and find out more about God's provision in the midst of adversity.
As the visibility of the children of Israel grows, so does the opposition. After the defeat of many of the people on the east side of the Jordan River, Balak, the king of the Moabites, decided on a plan. He was going to invite the prophet Balaam to come and curse the children of Israel. This is the conclusion of the Balaam story.
In Part 1 of "For Such A Time" the story unfolds as Esther is chosen to step into a whole new reality. For her, and for God's people.
Easter is over. For most people it's already "on to the next thing." But it wasn't always that way. And it need not be that way. What we celebrated on Easter was not a stand-alone event; it was rather the beginning of something that would change lives completely, both in the present and in the future. We all know about the idea of having a brand-new life after death, but how about before? Is it possible there is a resurrection reality for the here and now?
As the visibility of the children of Israel grows, so does the opposition. After the defeat of many of the people on the east side of the Jordan River, Balak, the king of the Moabites, decided on a plan. He was going to invite the prophet Balaam to come and curse the children of Israel. This is the second part of the Balaam story.
If you are like me, I tend to get super excited as Easter Sunday approaches! The reality of His resurrection sparks a mini revival in my heart. The challenge for me, however, is not to just leave Easter as a “once-a-year” event. If Jesus rose from the dead (and He did), what does that mean for my everyday life? My hope and prayer is that Jesus’ resurrection becomes more real to us than ever before, and that the implications of His life will seep into every area of ours!
A hard heart will cause loss of sensitivity, darkened thinking and obscured imagination. One way to a hard heart is an "over exposure and under response to the truth." The test is to listen to your mouth as it reveals your heart.
Almost 2,000 years ago, Jesus really died and rose again. That set off a chain reaction that literally changed the course of history and impacted eternity. And that calls for a special celebration! This special Easter message talks about the resurrection and what it means for everyone.
Our Passover Communion Celebration has become an annual time of celebration for us here at Crossroads. We take time during Holy Week to look back to God’s deliverance of the children of Israel from Egypt. Then we look towards Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples. This was a Passover Seder in fulfillment. Finally we look to our present moment as we stand before the Lord as His people on mission!
Pastor Michael and Pam Rozell present a unique audio/visual demonstration of God’s love for people, through the arts. God uses their gifts to change lives, families, marriages, and more. This powerful message is a timeless reminder of God's grace and love for us.
