  • SCOTUS Targeted for Takeover
William Federer is a nationally known speaker, historian, author, and president of Amerisearch, Inc. He's the speaker on The American Minute daily broadcast. In 1937, Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt didn't like the fact that the Supreme Court was not supporting all of his "New Deal" programs. Such programs were taking power away from citizens, local and state authorities and giving it to the federal government. For example, Roosevelt outlawed private ownership of gold and he took over factories and farms. The Supreme Court was the "check and balance" against this trampling of people's rights. In response, Roosevelt wanted to make the Supreme Court a "rubber stamp" for his policies. This meant a showdown was about to take place. However, that never happened because a couple of Supreme Court justices died and he was able to appoint replacements that were sympathetic to his reforms. It appears that a similar power grab is under way by the Biden/Harris administration. A press release from the Harris for President campaign said the following: "That is why President Biden and I are calling on Congress to pass important reform--from imposing term limits for Justices' active service, to requiring Justices to comply with binding ethics rules just like every other federal judge. And finally, in our democracy, no one should be above the law so we must also insure that no former president has immunity for crimes committed while in the White House." Review this broadcast where you'll learn from history why this call for reform is so troubling and hear how listeners feel about this issue as well.

  • Fatal Attack Targets Israel Again
Chris Katulka is assistant director of North American Ministries at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and host of The Friends of Israel Today radio program. He is a Bible teacher, writer for Israel My Glory magazine and is author of the book, Israel Always. This past Saturday, 12 young people were killed when a rocket hit a soccer field in the Golan Heights. The attack came on the heels of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before the U.S. Congress. Interestingly, the speech was boycotted by U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris who's running for the Democratic nomination for president. This broadcast looked at the attack, the prime minister's U.S. visit, the protests during his visit, the cease-fire talks and Israel being targeted by protesters at the Olympics. Why has the White House been so quiet about this latest attack on Israel? What are we to make of the opening ceremony of the Olympics that blasphemed Jesus and the Last Supper? Chris, as well as listeners, had much to say regarding these points, on this edition of Crosstalk.

  • Israel's Prime Minister Addresses U.S. Congress
On Wednesday, Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister, addressed a joint session of the U.S. Congress. While the speech emphasized long-standing and close ties between the U.S. and Israel, it also exposed the divisions in American society that have been stirred by the war in Israel. For example, some Democratic lawmakers boycotted the address, while protestors outside the Capitol condemned the war and the resulting humanitarian crisis. Some protestors spray painted marble statues and replaced American flags with Palestinian ones. Nonetheless, Netanyahu presented a nearly hour long speech, interrupted by frequent applause. Crosstalk presents this speech, which highlighted the shared interest in Israel's fight against Hamas terrorists and other armed groups backed by Iran.

  • The Current Political Landscape
Robert Knight is a former Los Angeles Times news editor and columnist for the Washington Times as well as other publications. Robert has had senior positions in a number of pro-family organizations. He's also written several books including, The Coming Communist Wave: What Happens if the Left Captures All Three Branches of Government, Liberty on the Brink and Crooked: What Really Happened in the 2020 Election and How to Stop the Fraud. It seems lately that the news cycle has been spinning faster and faster. There was Biden's COVID diagnosis which turned out to be mild. Then after saying he wouldn't drop out of the presidential race, he did which brought record-breaking contributions to the war chest of VP Kamala Harris. There was intense grilling of the Secret Service resulting in the resignation of Director Kimberly Cheatle and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a very stirring and well received message before a joint session of Congress. In addition to discussing these matters, Robert also brought his perspective on what we can expect when President Biden speaks tonight, how vulnerable he sees our nation, the U.S. posture toward Israel, illegal aliens and voting laws, his greatest concern as we head closer to the election and much more.

  • Without Excuse: Compelling Evidence for Creation
There is a growing skepticism toward God in American culture today. Some foolishly deny that God exists. Others say they do not know if God exists, while others merely hope that God exists. God wants us to know that he does exist and that his word, the Bible, is his timeless and unchangeable revelation to mankind. In fact, from Psalm 19:1 to Romans 1:20, we see that nature reveals God's existence and everyone is accountable and without excuse. Appearing on Crosstalk to demonstrate this fact was Bruce Malone. Bruce is executive director of Search for the Truth Ministries, an organization that widely disseminates Bible-affirming creation materials. Bruce has spent over 30 years bringing the scientific evidence for creation to churches and schools at seminars throughout the U.S. and around the world. He's authored or co-authored ten books on the evidence for creation. The story behind Bruce's book actually goes back to a Superbowl party 20 years ago that his church would put on for the city. At halftime the gospel would be presented to the youth in a large auditorium. Bruce asked the youth pastor if he could have 5 minutes with the youth to present evidence for creation. Part of his presentation involved giving them the book, Refuting Evolution by Jonathan Sarfati. Weeks later he asked the kids how they liked the book and not a single student had read it. Why? It's because it looked like another textbook. It's from that point on that Bruce decided that if he's going to write books, they'd be short, visual and fun to read. So he began to write creation devotionals where each day of the year he'd present wonderful examples of God's creativity and genius.

  • Biden Steps Aside…What’s Next?
Mat Staver is founder & chairman of Liberty Counsel. Mat is a constitutional attorney with three landmark cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He's an author and the host of the radio broadcasts Faith & Freedom and Freedom's Call. Yesterday, President Biden succumbed to pressure from within his own party to withdraw from receiving the Democratic nomination for president. As early as November of last year, while debating during his own run for president, then candidate Vivek Ramaswamy asked the Democrats to, "End this farce that Joe Biden is going to be your nominee. We know he's not even the president of the United States. He's a puppet for the managerial class." Jim then communicated his thoughts when he described things this way. He said "...a coup was launched within his own party to pull the rug from underneath him (Biden)." Given Biden's cognitive condition and decline, Mat communicated that the president was a puppet of people who have been moving the strings of a man they knew wasn't competent to run the U.S. As a result, he made a fool of us both domestically and internationally. In fact, he believes it looked like elder abuse. Why hasn't President Biden addressed the nation on TV about his stepping down from the Democratic nomination? There hasn't even been a press conference. This is especially troubling given the fact that we're told his COVID symptoms are minor. So where exactly is President Joe Biden? Since we don't know, who's running America? If he's not competent/capable of running for president, how can he be capable of being the president right now? In other words, should he immediately resign and step down?
