Stephen Willeford represents Gun Owners of America. He's known around the country as the "good guy with the gun" for helping stop the largest mass shooting in the history of Texas in Sutherland Springs back on November 5th of 2017. He described the account in significant detail to begin this edition of Crosstalk. This broadcast also dealt with some 2nd Amendment victories as well as challenges. For example, Gun Owners of America, alongside the Gun Owners Foundation, secured a preliminary injunction against President Biden's preset universal registration check rule. Also discussed was a possible federal ban on bump stocks, the Hunter Biden gun decision, the increase in gun purchases—especially by women, a challenge to a gun ban on Postal Service property and more, including responses from listeners.

This broadcast took a look at the barrage of LGBTQ efforts and the effect it's having on society. Joining Jim in this effort was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth. He's a former reporter for the Washington Times and LifeSiteNews.com and a former contributing editor for Human Events. Below is a sample of stories that Jim and Peter looked at dealing with this issue: --There were servicemen representing the 5 military branches as they marched in the front of the 2024 Washington, DC, Pride Parade. Washington's fire department and EMS participated along with the Washington Metro Police Department. Also participating were cross-dressers, those who mocked religion, some dressed as animals, others dressed in fetish and bondage gear, there was public nudity and more. --An 82 year old Washington woman is suing her YMCA operated city pool after she was banned by the facility for speaking out against a man using the women's locker room. --A Netflix kids series (Jurassic World—Camp Cretaceous) contains a lesbian love scene. --Sarah (Timothy) McBride wants to become the first transgender to be elected to Congress. --Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services over a new rule that would force state Medicaid and healthcare providers to pay for and perform gender transition surgeries. --Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that in every conversation he has with the Saudi's, he presses them on LGBTQI issues. --A middle school in Colorado was requiring their teachers to show an LBGTQ Day of Silence video to students. Parents were not notified.

Look to Crosstalk each Friday for news stories from around the world of interest to Christians. Stories included: --Jim highlighted a column by Riley Gaines and put out by Fox News that deals with the Progress Pride flag. This flag is, "...aimed at supporting individuals who feel marginalized despite living in the most diverse and inclusive society in the history of the world." She communicated the contrast between this flag and our American flag and what the latter stands for. --There's a memo circulating internally at 24 Hour Fitness reportedly labeling symbols associated with Black Lives Matter and LGBT pride as freedom of expression while banning patriotic imagery. --3 teenage boys in Spokane, Washington, could face up to 5 years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines for putting skid marks on a rainbow colored street mural with their scooters. --The board of supervisors for the city of San Francisco declared the city a sanctuary city for transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary and two-spirit people. --A federal judge in Texas on Tuesday stopped the Biden administration's new Title IX protections. --House Republicans are eyeing this year's must-pass defense policy bill as a vehicle to combat left-wing Biden administration policies on diversity, LGBTQ representation and gender ideology. --This June is under a travel advisory for worldwide caution for unspecified, potential violence against homosexuals and gender confused Americans according to the U.S. State Department. --The executive director of a Columbus, Georgia, pride organization was arrested Wednesday after police discovered a trove of drugs and paraphernalia and a .38 revolver at his home.

Today's society tends to make a mockery of the role of fathers, making them look like buffoons as we often see on TV sitcoms. The Bible, however, takes a different view. It instructs fathers in the following way: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.--Proverbs 22:6 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: And the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; So are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.--Psalm 127:3-5 Hearken unto they father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.--Proverbs 23:22 The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.--Proverbs 23:24 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.--Proverbs 20:7 This broadcast reflected the truth of these verses as listeners shared special words of tribute for their fathers.

Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet is president and CEO of Truth for Health Foundation. Since February 2020, she's been part of the team of frontline physicians treating COVID early at home. With Dr. Peter McCullough, she is a co-author/editor of the Guide to COVID Early Treatment: Options to Stay Out of Hospital and Save Your Life. She is a past director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. The 77th World Health Organization Assembly is over and the pandemic treaty was not passed. Dr. Vliet believes they are distracting people by saying that the treaty ran into problems so it's only on the "back burner" until the next gathering when there's less pressure and less public focus. What they did "under the radar" was to pass International Health Regulatory Agreement amendments from the 2005 agreement. She contends that the amendments that were passed are more draconian than ever. For example, in one of the amendments they now have arrest power for anyone who criticizes the avian flu vaccines. Is avian (bird) flu rampant in animals? Dr. Vliet says it's not because the unreliable PCR test is being used as a diagnostic test when in fact, it's not and never has been. Nonetheless it's being used to claim bird flu in animals which is an excuse to slaughter the food supply and scare people into receiving more experimental shots. In other words, the playbook that was used in 2020 for the COVID pandemic (and disrupt the election) is being used in regard to the avian flu situation. From cancer to court cases, to gain-of-function and more, a lot is covered for you to hear and to share with others, on this edition of Crosstalk.

Just over 14 years ago, Usama Dakdok made his first appearance on Crosstalk. At that time he warned listeners about the goal of Islam and the caliphate whereby the lands and the people would be under the domain of Islam. He warned that this would take place in Europe. The result? In our day we are literally watching the transformation of Great Britain, France, Germany and the European Union. Sadly, it's also taking place here in America, not just on university campuses but in cities across the nation. We can see from their protests that this movement is against not only Jews, but Christians and everything America stands for. Usama Dakdok is founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He's the speaker on the daily radio broadcast, Revealing the Truth About Islam. Usama speaks fluent Arabic and has translated the Quran into English. He is the author of Exposing the Truth about the Qur'an and Exposing the Truth About Jihad and the booklets, The Violent Truth about Islam and The Straight Way to Eternal Life. Beginning with Europe, Jim noted how in Germany's recent election, the Muslim Party received just over 41% of the vote. In fact, things are so bad, writer Robert Spencer noted that Britain, "...is in its last days as a free society and will soon become an Islamic state." To further show the depth of the problem in Europe, Spencer wrote about Lawrence Fox, the English actor turned political activist. Fox communicated that the mayors of London, Birmingham, Leeds, Blackburn, Sheffield, Oxford, Luton, Oldham and Rochdale are all Muslim. All that was achieved by only 4 million Muslims out of 66 million people in England.

Chris Katulka is the assistant director of North American Ministries at The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and host of The Friends of Israel Today radio program. He is a Bible teacher, writer for Israel My Glory magazine and is author of the book, Israel Always. This past Saturday, in broad daylight, Israeli Defense Forces engaged in an amazing rescue operation of 4 Israelis that were taken hostage at the Supernova music festival that took place in Gaza (on the Israeli side) on October 7th. While Israel has been celebrating this effort, there's been widespread condemnation elsewhere because of those who were killed in the process. As an example of the celebratory tone coming from Israel, Jim noted that Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant called the rescue, "...one the most heroic and extraordinary operations I've witnessed over the course of 47 years serving in Israel's defense establishment." This broadcast covered a lot of ground surrounding this topic as Jim and Chris discussed President Biden who continues to float a ceasefire deal, are the people who are part of the casualty numbers all innocent Palestinians, Benjamin Netanyahu's upcoming speech before a joint session of Congress, possible banning of Israel from the Olympics and much more.

Here's a selection of stories from the first quarter hour of the broadcast as Jim presented another edition of the News Round-Up: --On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, President Biden called for stronger international cooperation, while also taking a swipe at Russian President Vladimir Putin. --Last Friday afternoon, President Biden announced a new deal under which Hamas would rule Gaza, get billions in U.S. aid and dozens of its terrorists would be released from prison in exchange for the dead body of every hostage. --The IDF's "Operation Rafah" has exposed the existence of a secret overpass between Egypt and Gaza that Hamas could use to import anything without international supervision. --4 more Israeli hostages died in the custody of Hamas including an 84 year old individual. --The Iran-backed Palestinian/Hamas terror organization released a video last Friday providing another indication that another hostage, Noa Argamani, a young Israeli woman, is still alive. --Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted an invitation to address a joint session of Congress. --The U.S. House passed a resolution on Tuesday that would impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court if attempts to prosecute the U.S. or its allies moves forward. --Thousands of people gathered along Fifth Avenue in New York City for the annual parade in support of Israel. --On Monday morning a group of protesters at the Israeli consulate in San Francisco called for an end to attacks on Gaza. --In April, the Chicago Chapter of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters hosted a rally where activists chanted, "Death to America!"

If you've been listening to Crosstalk for some time, you've likely discovered that there's been a significant uptick in the intensity of issues bombarding the world. It's not just a single battle being waged, but an all-out war on numerous fronts. There's the attack on biblical values, the demonizing of Christianity, the escalation of lawlessness, the emerging secular agenda, and the growing control of the populace. Some may see these things as accidental or isolated incidents that aren't connected. However, they all share a common thread. It's the promotion of globalism. Appearing on Crosstalk to discuss this topic, Jim welcomed back Dr. Richard Schmidt. Dr. Schmidt is the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries. He's the speaker on the weekly TV program, "Prophecy Focus" and the radio broadcast, "Prophecy Unfolding." He spent 32 years in law enforcement including that of acting sheriff of Milwaukee County until his retirement. He's authored several books including: Are You Going to a Better Place?, Daniel's Gap Paul's Mystery, Tribulation to Triumph: The Olivet Discourse, and the newly released, Globalism: The Great World Consumption. Dr. Schmidt began by reminding listeners that 2 Timothy 3:1 tells us that in the last day, perilous times will come. "Last days" is used in different contexts in the Bible. When looking at this from a prophetic standpoint, this deals with the tribulation. However, in 2 Timothy, Paul is referring to horrible, dangerous times that will occur toward the end of the church age which is the age we are currently in. Don't miss this edition of Crosstalk!

There are significant warnings being expressed by some individuals concerning the internal safety and security of the United States. These warnings are coming from the highest levels of government all the way down to the level of our county sheriffs. The importance of this matter cannot be overstated. Jim proved the point as he aired 3 audio clips. The first was from Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson as he questioned Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas concerning what's been taking place at the southern border. The second audio clip featured Director of the FBI, Christopher Wray, who noted how multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for direct attacks on the U.S. or its assets and the threat from domestic extremist groups. In the third clip, FBI Director Wray discussed the ongoing, multi-pronged threat of China. These audio clips set the stage for comments that came from Butler County, Ohio, Sheriff Richard Jones. At a press conference conducted last week, he shared information obtained while attending the National Sheriffs Association Winter Conference that was held in Washington, D.C., on February 3-6. The sheriffs were briefed at the conference by numerous high level government officials and heard the latest regarding crime and national security, border crime, gangs, drugs, terrorism and violent extremism. You'll want to share this information with others as you'll hear Sheriff Jones discuss the warning as well as the actions he's taking in his county.
