Fear can be a good thing. It keeps you safe from danger. But to be paralysed by fear is not. Jesus said, "Fear not" to his disciples repeatedly, and yet they were racked with anxiety and fear. Until they weren't. Something changed their ability to trust, and that can give us the courage we need as well.
