HEADLINE: AUSCP Statement on Homosexual Priests Rejects Church Teaching, Embraces Modernism by Michael Hichborn 

* The Church has always, from the beginning and in all sources of tradition, including Scripture, the Fathers the Councils and the catechisms taught that homosexual sexual activities are objectively sinful, and that deep-seated homosexual tendencies, while not sinful, are disordered, meaning contrary to a natural end. The human person suffering from homosexuality has a disorder, much like other spiritual or psychological disorders. This human person is a loved creation of God and must be treated with the love due to other men, however in no way can the disorder be called “order,” nor can any sinful acts which follow from it be supported, affirmed, or approved.

* Hermeneutics = is the theory and methodology of interpretation, especially the interpretation of biblical texts, wisdom literature, as well as philosophical texts. Hermeneutics is more than interpretative principles or methods used when immediate comprehension fails and includes the art of understanding and communication.

* “We believe that following more modern Biblical scholarship which includes the lens of social science, psychology, and other sciences to assist in interpreting the Bible would be fruitful. It is time for Church leadership to authorize a study of its understanding of natural law to include what the modern sciences have unveiled in the 20th century. The Church should encourage moral theologians in a pursuit of a new Catholic ethic of human sexuality and sexual behavior.”

* The pattern is to find something not rigid - selectively quote from it.

* They say I am casting lots of stones.

* The AUSCP’s document then goes on to equate disordered homosexual tendencies with the self-identification of homosexual priests with claims that: 

* “…. gay priests are caught between the truth of their identity and experience, and their role as representatives of the Church and its teachings.”

* “…this leads to an ongoing identity crisis for the gay priest. ‘Do I deny who I am and go on serving God’s people (‘don’t ask, don’t tell’), or do I acknowledge who I am as a human being and Christ’s minister, and let the chips fall where they may?’”

* “[For bishops] to offer fraternal, pastoral affirmation of their gay priests and their ministry; in other words, to provide a safe environment for them to be who they know themselves to be.”

* Why should these people want themselves singled out by their sexual proclivities? 

* This is the sin of pride, nothing more, nothing less.

* They know this is wrong and yet they continue to do it.

* They need our help and prayers.

* When someone is as publicly Catholic as he is I want him to know the Constitution as well.

* Healthy system of subsidiarity if we obey it, it is already baked into the Constitution. 

* When it comes to the SSPX I think faithful Catholics can agree or disagree and move on.

Gonzalo Lira has officially been arrested.

* He is based in the city of Kharkiv which is still in the hands of the Ukrainian people.

* They are trying to charge him w/ Russian collusion.

* They state he has been getting information from Russia.

* The one thing saving his life is he has a United States passport and he is originally Chilean. 

* We need to all pray for him right now.

HEADLINE: ‘Red Pill’ Dating Coach Gonzalo Lira, Accused of Shilling for Putin, Is Arrested in Ukraine by Julia Davis 

* Lira was charged under article 436-2 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code, parts 2 and 3, pertaining to wartime propaganda. He will remain in jail as the case moves forward, and an active investigation is still underway.

* An SBU spokesperson said that after the start of the full-scale invasion, “the blogger was one of the first to support the Russian invaders and glorify their war crimes... Additionally, in his comments he disputed the details of Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and mass murders of civilians.”

* All the weapons being sent to Ukraine won’t make much difference in the grand scheme of things in this war against Russia.

* Spring Offensive - 

HEADLINE: Kiev ‘needs more time’ before counteroffensive – Zelensky

* The Ukrainians will never take back the ground lost at this point.

* If you guys don’t show us results we have to end this b/c the American people are becoming weary.

* Have the areas we call the Donbas, the ones that voted to join Russia, would they be allowed to join now?

* Don’t forget what Putin said during his State of the Union, we cannot be in a position where the enemy is within firing range of any of our cities.

* They have to push 150 kilometers West, further. 

* You can’t negotiate w/ anyone in Kiev and Putin has finally realized that.

* In my opinion it wasn’t an attempt on Putins life b/c he doesn’t sleep in the Senate building and that is where the drone hit.

* It was an attempt to show strength then they ultimately denied doing.

* 80% believed the Ukrainian people needed help now it is down to 30%

* Poland is being swamped w/ Ukrainians and no one wants them here.

* They can apply for citizenship in our country w/in a few months and it will forever change the demographic change of Poland.

* We are now a bi-national entity and something much less Polish than we are now and that is a shame.

HEADLINE: Saint Antoninus (1459) by The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

* Saint Antoninus was a little man, born in Florence. He was admitted to the Dominican Order when he was sixteen years old. He was the Pope’s special theologian at the Council of Florence, and later on was made archbishop of that city. He was called “the Father of the Poor.” He died holding a crucifix in his hand, and kissing it. His motto was, “To serve God is to reign.”

* HBO series Gunpowder - 

* Gunpowder Plot - the conspiracy of English Roman Catholics to blow up Parliament and King James I, his queen, and his eldest son on November 5, 1605. The leader of the plot, Robert Catesby, together with his four coconspirators—Thomas Winter, Thomas Percy, John Wright, and Guy Fawkes—were zealous Roman Catholics angered by James’s refusal to grant more religious toleration to Catholics. They apparently hoped that the confusion that would follow the murder of the king, his ministers, and the members of Parliament would provide an opportunity for the English Catholics to take over the country.

* The Gunpowder Plot was a failed attempt to blow up England’s King James I and the Parliament on November 5, 1605. The plot was organized by Robert Catesby in an effort to end the persecution of Roman Catholics by the English government. Catesby and others hoped to replace the country’s Protestant government with Catholic leadership. Around midnight on November 4, 1605, one of the conspirators, Guy Fawkes, was discovered in the cellar of the Parliament building with barrels of gunpowder. Fawkes and other men involved in the plot were tried and executed for treason. Every November 5, the British celebrate Guy Fawkes Day by burning Fawkes in effigy.

* Fawkes and the other surviving chief conspirators were sentenced to be hanged, drawn and quartered in London. However, moments before the start of his execution, on January 31, 1606, Fawkes jumped from a ladder while climbing to the gallows, breaking his neck and dying.

* Following the failed Gunpowder Plot, new laws were instituted in England that eliminated the right of Catholics to vote, among other repressive restrictions.

* There was also the Hapsburg prestige on the line too.

* The Spaniards were definitely part of this.
