* The Bracco Family, lives in Cedar Grove, NJ and also own/run a very pure, independent, small batch, naturally-grown, sustainable family farm in Pine Island NY.   After running his graphic design business for nearly 30 years, in 2009 we decided to buy a farm to have a large garden where we would grow for ourselves the cleanest produce possible while working with the individual character of each natural season.  

* We set out using Safe-Seed-Pledge Non-GMO seeds and instituting time-tested natural sustainable farming techniques along with hand-cultivation of weeds without the use of any herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, weed killers, chemicals or glyphosate.  To our surprise, so many people approached us to purchase what we were growing Bracco Farms was born.  Now, while still maintaining our original farm ethics and techniques, Bracco Farms supplies our farm stand, many farm2fork chefs and organic farmers who purchase our produce for their own farm stands.  

* 25 acre farm in New York 

* Golf resort near our farm was our very first commercial customer, they wanted fresh produce for their restaurant there.

* Hudson Valley - there is an area known as the Black Dirt Region 

* What was left behind when the ice receeded. 

* A lot of low areas that were marshy they filled w/ organic material.

* Very rich peat moss on steroids b/c there is so much organic matter there.

* ANYONE can grow anything in this soil that is how spectacular it is.

HEADLINE: Mortgage demand from homebuyers drops to a 28-year low by Diana Olick 

* Mortgage applications to purchase a home dropped 6% last week compared with the previous week, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s seasonally adjusted index. Volume was 44% lower than the same week one year ago, and is now sitting at a 28-year low.

* Mortgage rates have moved 50 basis points higher in just the past month. Last February, rates were in the 4% range.

* If the Federal Government can’t loan money anymore for Student Loans, the local bank has to right?

* So where does the bank get the money to loan said student?

* Why don’t we get a mortgage holiday or it being forgiven b/c the same Federal Gov gave the bank the money for my mortgage too?!!!!!

* Why just forgive student loans?

* Trying to get a loan for his son to buy a truck and asked about the interest rate and the local bank told him the BEST he could do is 12-16% interest. 

* So he told the teller, okay I have about $50,000 in that bank right now, get you a Kroger bag b/c I’m coming to get it in an hour and he did! He grabbed every cent he had w/ that bank.

* That is how we should ALL be acting that way w/ our local banks.

* Is this a Federal Reserve thing?

* Yes all banks are members of the FDIC.

* Because fiat currency is not based in the natural order, it causes the people who use it to suffer. The ability to print money as “needed” may be a boon to business, but in actual fact, most of the money printed is gobbled up by the banks. “The Cantillon Effect” describes the fact that the chief beneficiaries of the expansion of the money supply are the first recipients of the new money (usually the banks): they are able to spend the funds before they have caused prices to increase. Those next receiving the money (other major corporations jumping on the new lines of credit) face a small increase in price levels, and so on. The last recipients of the new money (the poor and the middle-class) face the greatest inflation in prices with the proportionally few dollars that trickle down to them. 

* In short, by printing and distributing money through specific corporate channels, central authorities have not only diminished the value of the common man’s savings but have drastically increased the wealth-gap between those associated with the state and those who are not. This was dramatically seen during the COVID-19 crisis when, between March 2020 and April 2021, the base monetary supply in the US increased by 29.9% and US billionaire wealth increased by 61.9%. HEADLINE: Dioxins via Illinois Department of Public Health 

* Freshwater fish such as carp, catfish or buffalo fish that feed on microscopic plants and animals could ingest dioxins present in the sediment. They are often eaten by larger animals, and the dioxins get into their body fat. People are generally not exposed to dioxins in surface water unless they contact contaminated sediments.

* Dioxins do not easily dissolve in water, so they tend to settle to the bottom and cling to the sediment. Dioxins last for a very long time in the environment before breaking down. In surface waters and sediments, dioxins can pass into aquatic organisms and eventually find their way into the food chain. Dioxins are easily absorbed by animals and are stored in fatty tissue.

* Just like what we are seeing w/ the ignoring or ignorance in Ohio - they are screwing it up and then contaminating the properties next to it.

* Legacy Agriculture - had heavy metals they used in pesticides  - the removed the orchards and built homes on this land. Well now the kids that live in these houses are getting sick.

* Dilution is the solution - in a lot of these cases, well at least that is what the EPA and other agencies think there is nothing wrong with this.

* Like the scientist said the other day about the Ohio river - It’s a really big river and it will all disperse. 

* That isn’t really how dioxins work.

* The inescapable conclusion is that this will ultimately get into their water supply.

* The ones in charge they don’t have to deal w/ moving.
