On this episode of the Sherwood Park Crusaders Pre-Game Show, Zach Marks and Dawson Petryshen queue up the 2021-22 regular season as they discuss the departures and acquisitions of the summer, the ebbs and flows of the preseason, and getting fans ready for the start of regular season play, which begins with a two-game set against the Spruce Grove Saints.  Dawson had a chance to speak with American recruit Austin Cook about the differences of playing in the US as opposed to the AJHL, getting used to the pace of play, and meeting all the new faces in the locker room. Also, Dawson chats with returning player Ashton McNelly about bringing fans back into the arena, the state of the team heading into the year, and the ever-evolving rivalry with the Saints. Sherwood Park looks to build on the progress of last season with all the new additions, highlighted by players such as Tyler Bates and Carmelo Crandell. As well, returnees like Cale Ashcroft and Evan Arnold look to keep improving their games and be big contributors to the team. Crusaders fans have a lot to look forward to starting September 17th, where the Cru head off to Spruce Grove for an intense matchup to begin the campaign.

Hear from 20-year-old forward Mitchell Joss as he joins the Crusaders ahead of his final junior hockey season with an NCAA commitment on his to-do list. Brenden Escott catches up with the newest Crusader and a legacy player in Bruce MacGregor, whose father Brad played for the club in the early-80s. Hear all about that and more from the 20-year-old Sherwood Park product, enjoying a homecoming in his final junior season.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders closed out their season this past weekend on home ice to the Grande Prairie Storm. Brenden Escott recapped those two games with a pair of rookies on this weeks show - Cale Ashcroft and Ashton McNelly.

It's the last game of the season, and Zach Marks is here to get you ready for this afternoon's action! Crusaders rookie forward Nolan Wutzke joined him to talk about his fight last night and how the team can bounce back!

Zach Marks gets you prepared for tonight's action versus the Grande Prairie Storm. He also spoke with rookie forward James Gibson about the weekend series against the Storm and his rookie season as a whole. 

Brenden Escott and Zach Marks review this past weekends matchup versus the Grande Prairie Storm, which saw the Crusaders come away with three points. The two of them were joined by rookie forward Zac Maxwell and junior hockey veteran Loeden Schaufler.
