So often I get calls from friends and clients wanting to update their website. I ask... WHY? The answer is always... we need to get new customers. The idea that a silver bullet like updating your website, changing your logo or buying Google AdWords will immediately result in new customers won't work. To her defense my message to her was aggressive, and I've changed our approach, but we have sent that same message to over 100 others without negativity.
