Second half of the show, I ceded some time to "Politics Girl" to review her mid-December "impeachment" retort, and then I somehow wound up railing on the GOP's preening about immigration at the southern border while doing absolutely nothing about it where they're needed - in Washington, where another government shutdown looms.

Bill Nigut penned an op/ed, actually, reminding us all how far since Ronald Reagan's last speech as President the GOP's drifted from bipartisan approaches to immigration.

So of course I pulled up some of that audio from the noted the liberal pinko commie from 1989 to give the argument some flourish.
