Crystal Palace were held to a 0-0 draw by Sunderland at Selhurst Park, but the Eagles can feel hard done by. Palace dominated the ball, pinned the visitors back for long spells, and carved out several decent openings, only to be denied by poor finishing and a stubborn Sunderland defence. The visitors rarely threatened, clearly content with a point. While the scoreline flatters Sunderland, Palace supporters will see plenty of positives—this was a game we should have won.
