"They trust humans, AGAIN, although they have been treated by us in the worst ways!"
Wild horses living in the Wild West of the USA represent freedom, pioneer attitude and protect the land they live on. However, Mustangs as well as the untouched regions are in danger. With precarious "round ups" in which horses are chased with helicopters the federal state wants to make room for grazing cattle for the meat production.
I talked with the American Wild Horse Campaign about wild horses and how the non-profit organization is trying to protect them. Amelia, Communications Associate of the AWHC, explains in this podcast:
