Christ the King is proud to partner with a growing number of local organizations that provide essential services in our community. We express our long-term commitment to these respected, nonprofit partners in two ways: through financial support from the generosity of our congregation and by providing volunteers to help meet the needs of each partner and the people they serve. In exchange, CTK benefits from the expertise and assistance of these nonprofits to better serve our diverse congregation.
We view our partnerships as a form of outreach, giving us opportunities to participate in meaningful ways for the good of our community. It also increases our awareness of issues and people we might not otherwise connect with. To serve our community, we have to be connected to our community. These relational moments are the perfect places to express God’s care, concern, and kindness for each person.
Our partnerships focus on five areas: 1) Kids and families, 2) homelessness,
3) relational crisis services, 4) people with disabilities and 5) hunger relief.
