The men’s basketball made the college basketball world take notice over the weekend. After beating No. 4 Arizona State Thursday, the Buffs knocked off No. 14 Arizona State on Saturday. Hear from coach Tad Boyle and Dallas Walton after his huge game. The Buffs now head to the LA schools this week. The women’s basketball team earned a split against the Washington schools. The Buffs beat Washington on Sunday afternoon, breaking a nine-game losing streak against the Huskies. Hear from coach JR Payne. Ola Johansen won the men’s GS race and Tonje Trulsrud finished second in the women’s race as the Buffs are in fifth after the first day of the Montana State Invitational.

The men’s basketball team hosts a pair of ranked teams this week, in the second week of Conference action, as No. 4 Arizona State and No. 14 Arizona both visit the Coors Events Center. The ski team gets 2017 underway with the Nordic team participating in the US Cross Country Ski Championships in Alaska starting tomorrow. It’s signing day for football, a new date seven weeks earlier than the normal early February date. Check out CUBuffs.com for more.  There will be another signing day on February 7 and the Signing Day Celebration will take place on February 8. Phillip Lindsay was named the Colorado Chapter of the NFF Colorado Offensive Player of the Year.  The men’s and women’s basketball teams both have their final non-conference games upcoming, the women will play Westminster (Mo.) on Thursday at the Coors Events Center. Hear from coach JR Payne. The men will wrap up non-conference play in a neutral site game against Iowa in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Hear from coach Tad Boyle.

It’s finals week, so most all is quiet on the CU-Boulder campus. Annika Jank got another Pac-12 Freshman of the Year award, her third of the year. Hear from coach JR Payne on Jank. The men’s team will hit the court on Friday, playing Iowa in South Dakota. Hear from George King. The volleyball team finished No. 19 in the final AVCA coaches poll of the season. The lacrosse team announced its schedule on Friday.

It was a good Friday night for the basketball teams. The men’s team beat South Dakota State, 112-103 in double overtime to end a two-game slide. Hear from coach Tad Boyle and McKinley Wright, who was one rebound shy of a triple-double. Next up for the Buffs is a match-up with Iowa in Sioux Fallx, Iowa, on Friday. The women’s team used a dominant second half to pull away from Air Force, 68-43. Thursday the Buffs host Westminster (Mo.) at the Coors Events Center.
