Sad news to report as senior lacrosse player Julia Sarcona passed away in a car accident west of Boulder on Saturday morning. She was scheduled to graduate this May with a degree in public relations. The men’s basketball team hosts the Washington schools this week, hear from senior Don Collier and coach Tad Boyle. The women’s team travels to the Arizona schools. The tennis team was also in action in Indiana.

The men’s basketball team won for the first time at Paulay Pavilion on Saturday, led by George King’s 26 points and 10 rebounds. The Buff basketball team’s road and turnover woes continued last night in Los Angels as CU dropped a Pac 12 Conference game to USC! Senior George King led the Buffs with 21 points and nine rebounds, but CU turned the ball over 22 times resulting in 25 Trojan points. The Buffs have a couple of days off before battling UCLA at Pauley Pavilion. And Voice of the Buffs Mark Johnson tells us about the CU Ski Team earning some weekly honors on the slopes in the Buffs Daily.

The men’s basketball team looks to continue the momentum built up by beating the Arizona schools on the road against the LA schools. Up first tonight is a game at USC. Hear from coach Tad Boyle. The Buffs were named the NABC national team of the week this week and former Buff Derrick White is back in Boulder for a couple days this week as the San Antonio Spurs visit Denver. Mark Johnson caught up with him. The women’s basketball team returns home this week with USC on Friday and UCLA on Sunday. The ski team took the lead at the Montana State invitational, moving up from fourth after the first day.

The men’s basketball made the college basketball world take notice over the weekend. After beating No. 4 Arizona State Thursday, the Buffs knocked off No. 14 Arizona State on Saturday. Hear from coach Tad Boyle and Dallas Walton after his huge game. The Buffs now head to the LA schools this week. The women’s basketball team earned a split against the Washington schools. The Buffs beat Washington on Sunday afternoon, breaking a nine-game losing streak against the Huskies. Hear from coach JR Payne. Ola Johansen won the men’s GS race and Tonje Trulsrud finished second in the women’s race as the Buffs are in fifth after the first day of the Montana State Invitational.
