After a forgettable trip to Washington State over the weekend, the Buffs open the weekend with a quarterback competition brewing between Steven Montez and Sam Noyer. Hear from George Frazier and coach Mike MacIntyre. The soccer team tied Arizona on Sunday, finishing the final home weekend 1-0-1. The volleyball team had three math points on the fourth set but couldn’t hold off UCLA Saturday after beating USC for the first time in program history on Friday.

It’s travel day for the football team as the Buffs look to win a second straight Pac-12 road game, this time in Pullman, Wash., to face the Washington State Cougars. Hear from LB Drew Lewis and coach Mike MacIntyre. The soccer team defeated Arizona State 3-0 at Prentup Field Thursday. Marty Puketapu scores two goals in the first half to lead the Buffs. Senior Day for the Buffs is Sunday against Arizona. The volleyball team hosts UCLA Friday night and will face USC Saturday.

It was a heavy install day for the football team. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre on why he doesn’t put much stock into last week’s 37-3 loss, the first of the season for Washington State. It was CU Media Day for the basketball and ski teams at the Coors Events Center. Hear from JR Payne and Tad Boyle as both teams will feature eight players who have never played before. Preparation continues for the Buffs second straight road trip to the northwest this weekend as the Buffs head to No. 15 Washington State. Hear from Wazzu coach Mike Leach, CU linebacker Drew Lewis and wide receiver Bryce Bobo. Bobo and tennis’ Linda Huang were named UCHealth CU Athletes of the Week. The women’s cross country team fell to No. 3 and the men improved to No. 5 after both took runner up finishes at Pre-Nationals last weekend. Volleyball hosts the LA schools this week and soccer the Arizona schools.

 The Buffs got back to the practice field yesterday. Voice of the Buffs Mark Johnson cites CUBuffs.com’s Neill Woelk’s story that points out the Buffs have had 10 scoring drives of 70 yards or longer in the last two games, those drives averaging over 10 plays per game. Phillip Lindsay had another monster game. Coach Mike MacIntyre talks about that and gives a quick preview of the Buffs next game at Washington State. The volleyball team hosts the LA schools this weekend and soccer plays host to the Arizona schools in the season’s final home weekend. Linda Huang from the tennis team had a spectacular run at the ITA Regionals, falling in the championship match on Sunday.

It was a solid weekend for the Buffaloes. The football team ended a three game slide with a 36-33 win at Oregon State Saturday. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre and Isaiah Oliver. The volleyball team earned two road wins in Arizona over the Sun Devils and Wildcats. Soccer fell at No. 6 USC and both cross country teams finished second at the Pre-Nationals meet. Soccer hosts it’s final two home games of the season this weekend and the volleyball team hosts the LA schools. Football heads to Washington State.

The men’s golf team was supposed to be in action Monday but play was cancelled due to the snow and the women’s golf team tees off in Washington tomorrow for the first of two days of action.
