Emcee and Alex record off schedule and apparently they drank several Red Bulls before recording so you get to thrill as they energetically go cuckoo for “Cuckoo” the eagerly anticipated horror thriller from new (wave?) German director Tilman Singer. Amidst the giallo-esque shadows and John Carpenter nods, a gorgeous cast including Hunter Schaefer, Jessica Henwick, and Dan Stevens spreads its wings to peck away at the central mystery of this sci-fi/supernatural tinged thriller. Jump scares, genital snot, and confusion abounds as your lovely hosts ruffle their feathers trying to understand just WTF is happening here.
