This week Kirsty welcomes Belinda to the podcast!
They discuss all things self-compassion.
Belinda was inspired by Leanne's ability to show compassion for herself so decided it was worth exploring in more details. Tune in as the girls take a look at why self-compassion is important (especially when decluttering!) and what are somethings we can all be doing to practice more of this in our lives.
Kirsty and Belinda also share how easy (or not!) it is for them to be practising self compassion and how they see its value and working at doing more if it too. If you haven't already listened to last week's episode then we highly recommend checking it out first.
We'd love to hear how go being curious this week about showing yourself more compassion and telling that harsh inner critic to shush! Jump on over to our Facebook Community and tell us!
Enjoy!
In this episode we;
● Define what self-compassion is;
● Talk about what stood out to us about Leanne's approach to her decluttering challenge and why;
● Discuss the benefits of choosing flexibility over rigidity;
● Highlight that self-compassion can motivate us to change to achieve our goals;
● Share some our own experiences of growing in practicing self-compassion;
● Suggest practical things to do to grow in this area;

If you've been tuning in over the last few weeks you will have heard Kirsty mention her friend's decluttering challenge. Well, today you all get to meet that friend - Leanne Shelton. Leanne is a mum of 2 young girls, a wife of 14 years to Justin and a business owner at Write Time Marketing. After many years of procrastinating the clutter, Leanne decided to be intentional about gaining control back in her home. Setting aside a few weeks over the summer school holidays she set herself the challenge of decluttering 1 space everyday for 21 days. Without sharing too many spoilers, at the time of recording Leanne was at day 48 and still going with a new goal insight. Leanne shares so much gold with Kirsty about what she has learnt on her journey thus far and in particular about her unique approach to this challenge. We hope you enjoy hearing Leanne's story and become inspired to get decluttering!
In this episode we;
● Find out a little bit about Leanne and why she set herself this declutter challenge;
● Hear loads of practical tips as Leanne breaks down her approach to decluttering what she did to keep herself accountable;
● Ask Leanne what's next and learn how her mindset has changed to one of hope for the future;
● Highlight the importance of going for the quick and easy wins to maintain momentum and build confidence;
● Reaffirm - Always declutter first before organising!;
And so so so so much more...
We hope from this conversation we all learn something and put a smile on your face!

Do you feel like there never seems to be enough hours in your week or even your day?
Do you sometimes wonder where all your time goes?
This week on the podcast, Kirsty and Fi talk about how they tackle time and give you their tips and strategies on how you can find more time in your day instead of always feeling like you’re running behind.
They talk about the power of 5 minutes and why it's so good! And give you some strategies on how you can find more of these small moments in your day.
They discuss how our values and what we want to achieve aren't always shown by how we use our time…social media scrolling anyone?? ( Remember, no judgement!) And how, by asking some simple questions and with a few small changes, we can spend more time doing what we really want! If Fi can do it, anyone can! They also talk about some of the tips and tricks we have found helpful to avoid procrastination, especially with housework and other things on the ‘to do list’ each week (including decluttering the space) that don’t always bring joy!
Hope you enjoy the conversation and are inspired to curiously explore how you use your time today!

This week, Kirsty & Fi talk about heading into a new year and challenging society's pressure of what we 'should' be doing to prepare for the new year. We talk about having grace for who we were, who we are and who we will be in 2023. We talk about provoking thoughts in people, the duality of life, if we are pessimist or optimist, and whether we like planning or want complete freedom of spontaneity. It is an open and honest conversation between friends and we hope you have fun thinking how you too can challenge society's pressure to be a brand new you in 2023.
